Hotfix that resolves the black screen issue: http://www.mediafire.com/?1oaqlpnqq9fvxzv (extract to the game folder). This hotfix is unofficial, so it's best to copy the Might_&_Magic_Heroes_VI.exe file from the game folder to another location beforehand, just in case an error occurs.
Buka states that the issues with the codes may have arisen because "some users entered their DLC key as an activation key. Or, after the keys were invalidated, they created a second account and tried to enter the key that they had previously activated in the first account." If you have a similar problem, you can notify Buka (instructions on how to do this are available here). At the same link, you can simply read the recommendations regarding actions with Buka's edition keys.
Ubisoft has published a quick guide to the map editor for Heroes VI on its website. They also encourage users to share their created maps, and the authors of the best maps will have their maps published through official channels as a reward. You can download the editor here.
The official Ubisoft website reports that everyone now has the opportunity to get a free license key for "Clash of Heroes" for PC. Each week, the company will collect game statistics through Conflux and announce the best players. This week, for example, the winner will be the player who has captured the most cities, and the results will be announced on November 4th.
we can definitely see that you are losing patience regarding the coming patch: some of you are very bothered with bugs and you are challenging us to release the patch as soon as possible. We are often asked at least to communicate about the content and the date. The point is we don't want to speculate with this information by promising things if we are not sure it will be available. That is why we are taking our time to make an official announcement. On the other hand, we are currently running technical tests, so we are waiting for the confirmation that everything is OK and the patch 1.2 will solve issues and won't create new ones. We will make an official announcement very shortly as it is obvious for us that it is important to you. Sorry for the delay, guys ...
While waiting, please, take into account that we are checking out your feedback on our official forums, facebook, twitter and community forums. The Customer support is providing us with a detailed report of bugs received from the community. This service is very important to us. So, don't hesitate to contact your CS and report bugs.
We'd like to thank you for your support and also your patience. I'll try to get back to you with more news in the coming days.
Kind regards,
Ubi_Irina
In short, patch 1.2 is being thoroughly tested, and Ubi doesn't want to rush the release of this patch, but an official announcement about it can be expected very soon.
Added 46 minutes later
And a small addition.

And she added (Ubi_Irina):
"No, town screens are on our list of improvements to be done, but it will not be included in the coming patch for sure. There is no officially stated date yet. I'd like to tell you more, but as far as it has not been decided yet, it is not possible . An every week patch will not be possible: it is rather time-consuming for developers to test it, so once a month looks more realistic to me. This suggestion will be communicated to the developers. After that, let's see together if there is enough content to be patched or hopefully it will not be necessary any more"
Which translates to: Town screens are one of our priorities, but they definitely won't be included in this patch. We can't say the date yet. Releasing patches every week or two is basically unrealistic, as testing alone will take a couple of weeks, so we will release patches once a month or two
Major bugs have been fixed (Plague Week, Dynasty Weapons, creature abilities, scripts, localization);

Irina, can players from Russia participate in this contest? Will we be able to play a duel?
Ubi_Irina
I checked, it is possible if you have the Steam version and, therefore, play on international servers. Unfortunately, it is technically impossible to connect to a purely Russian server from the Ubisoft office (Paris) :-(.
And also from heroes6.ruUbi_Irina
:) Good day, dear Heroes,
for now, you can only meet in a Duel. Playing with a team is only possible through Steam (unfortunately). If we see a large number of people from Russia who want to participate, we will definitely find a solution next time so that you can battle on a Russian server with Russian Heroes.
Ubisoft announces the release of patch 1.2 for Might and Magic: Heroes 6. The patch fixes many serious bugs (plague week, dynasty weapons, creature abilities), significantly improves the AI (for example, the company claims its speed should increase by 2-3 times), and adjusts the balance.
Ubisoft is organizing a celebratory contest, and the winner will receive a statuette of Mikhail.
To participate, you need to download the map here, complete it, and collect clues to find out what to do next and how to get the prize.
On February 7th, Ubisoft will be migrating the hosting of many online services to a new location. During this migration, some online games will be unavailable. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. This change will ultimately allow us to improve the infrastructure and provide optimal support for our users.
