I'm new here and a huge fan of the game :smile28:.
I stopped using computers for a while, so I don't understand much about programming anymore (something like that :(). But I want to fix some bugs in the games. I have two source files. The first is an image of my :rolleyes: gold disc of Restoration of Erathia. The second is a rip of Armageddon's Blade. To see the difference, just look:

Are they different only in terms of text? Is it really that bad? The translations are slightly different, but the meaning of the translated text is still the same.

As strange as it may seem, the font just irritates me:mad:. It's simply impossible to read! It feels like my eyes are going to pop out... So, is there a way to change the fonts or fix the glitches in the games themselves?

And one more thing. The translation is completely different! My version, no matter how many times I compare them, is better.

Well, I'm a HomoRussian. It's nice to play in my native language ;)

I still advise you to play The Shadow of Death 3.2; it has a good font, but you'll need to put in some effort to create a random map generator and a conflux. Or, play the Complete Edition, which is a full collection. It already includes a random map generator, and you can play as Phoenixes. It also has all the maps and campaigns created by the developers of this game, namely: The Restoration of Erathia, Armageddon's Blade, and The Shadow of Death. And most importantly, people play this version online! :) If you get tired of playing against dumb AI and want to play online, you'll easily find strong opponents. But with The Restoration of Erathia and Armageddon's Blade, that's not possible.

Are there any tools for modifying game resources? I really want to, I really, really want to... I'll start modding from scratch. What can you recommend?:confused:? I'm going to change the look of "Breath of Death":cool:.

But I, on the contrary, find it unpleasant. I like to play the original version, without any translations. This applies to any game, not just Heroes.

Here, the question is more about how to correctly translate and convey the meaning of the plot without ruining the game itself. So that it's enjoyable to play. But we're really lagging behind in this.
