What about the enhanced griffons? Did they fix the bug with their aerial attack? I'm wondering whether to upgrade them or not... maybe something has changed, I haven't played in 2 weeks.

Athena_Pallada, you have the 4th mission of the campaign selected, but you want to start it with a new hero, and create him yourself, which is only possible in the first mission of the campaign, and in this case, the game saves will be lost (when creating a new hero).

You will play as your own hero instead of Anastasia in this case (as far as I understand, you are playing the Necromancer campaign). The voice acting will remain the same, but you will be able to choose your hero's specific parameters (gender, name, specialization – but you will still be called Anastasia even if you create a male hero). Also, it should be noted that you will not receive 150 Dynasty coins for completing the campaign with a non-original hero, but that's only if you play with a non-original hero.

The meaning is the same; you will play as Anastasia, but as a different character. As for how to start playing, I wrote about it a little earlier: simply press + at the beginning of the campaign and create a new hero. As I wrote before, all game saves in this campaign will be lost. So be careful; you can try creating your character in any other campaign that hasn't been started yet.
And yes, regarding the meaning, it seems to me that it would have been simpler for the developers to allow choosing a special ability for the main hero instead of creating an unnecessary function.
