Map name: "Zeheer's Choice" Map name: "ExampleBeta" Map type: Single (1x1) Two-level map: no Number of players: 2 Size: [M] - medium Author: djulian13 Map installation: Download the archive. Extract the file "ExampleBeta.h5m" into the "\Maps" folder, which is located in the game folder. Enjoy! Description: My first successful attempt. A medium-difficulty map that, with the right tactics, luck, and experience in battles with Emerald Dragons, can be conquered. Two challenging battles, the other five are relatively easy. Good luck! Sincerely.
Why talk about places where it's not interesting to play? :smile47:
During the beta test, one player told me that he didn't understand anything at all. That's why I explained it. But in general, on this map, the main thing is not the goal, but the means of achieving it. :)
As a Mage. The Gate opening develops in the usual way – by increasing the skill level. But it has a low (if not zero) priority for the Mage (which Zephyr is), so it may not appear if you take other perks.
Wood – go outside the garrison and turn downwards – it will always be guarded by the Pit Lords who join.
Best regards.
Hmm, I didn't quite grasp the idea behind the map. A quick look in the editor revealed that the map's design primarily serves to restrict hero movement. From your description, I understand that the map is completed in five battles. The idea of a demonic city seems interesting, but is the essence of the map really just about devising new tactics?!
By the way, the level cap of thirteen suggests that this is the first map in a future campaign?
A magical-demonic campaign with occasional appearances by the Conflux faction.
In that case, I can only wish you good luck. ...and inspiration...
1. This is just my personal opinion; you don't have to read it. I just had to get it off my chest. Did you even open the map in the game? I've always been amazed by people who, before playing the map properly, "break" it with the editor and check every corner.
2. The map's idea is based on the plot – to show the player what they will face next. As for the goal... without embellishment – to reach the sanctuary in the upper left corner.
3. Yes, the design in the map is just a movement restriction. But what would be the point if I didn't restrict it? The space would still be empty; I haven't learned how to fill it yet, and GSC (Guard, Scout, Conquer) would be pointless.
4. There are seven battles on the map. If you want, you can win in four battles (without taking the dwellings of demons and horned beasts from the vampires and skeletons): 2 battles with emeralds at the forks (4 and 9), 2 battles with elementals guarding "Urghash's Will" (I'm not sure exactly, but I think 50+ fire elementals are on the ring, and 50+ earth elementals are on the helmet).
5. The essence of the map is the same as in C1M1 of the original game, except that you'll have to play for longer %), and besides, this is a groundwork for a future campaign. I hope so. One thing makes me happy – the idea of demons under the command of a mage worked out well.
6. Yes, this is indeed the first map. Also, it is physically impossible to reach a higher level on the map; I've checked it many times. Above level 13 – no way.
7. Thank you for the good luck and inspiration!
P.S. Honestly, when people start criticizing based on their first attempts, it kills all desire to do anything and to develop in this direction at all.
Sincerely.
The map is very easy, and all the succubi and similar creatures join, while the green dragons are easily defeated by the temptresses without any losses. And the question is: what is the purpose of the blue player here? It would be good to make it more challenging and fill it out, as the overall concept is interesting.
Player100 The blue player issue is an interesting story. For some reason, the game wouldn't recognize the map without a second player. Thanks for the feedback! Nikitatigr It's being worked on, but it's a slow process. I'm currently redoing this map.
Why did you decide to limit the Hero's development to level 13? Are you still working on this map?
Why did you decide to limit the Hero's development to level 13? Are you still working on this map?
I was trying to create a campaign... well, when I started working on this map. But now, I don't like many things about the plot, and I haven't been doing mapmaking for a long time, so unfortunately, nothing will happen in this branch.
