Hi everyone! Can someone help me? I have two licensed discs: one with the regular Heroes of Might and Magic V, and another with the Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East expansion. But I seem to have lost the Tribes of the East disc. I only have the regular Heroes of Might and Magic V disc left. Will the key from my regular Heroes of Might and Magic V disc work in the Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East game? Or can I only play the regular Heroes of Might and Magic V?

I didn't like the game on Ubi; I can't play it there. I tried playing via dial-up, but it lagged and crashed in the lobby. I tried using a USB modem, and it lagged less, but it still crashed. I thought that if I got a satellite connection, I would be able to enjoy the game. I tried it, and it didn't lag, but it still crashed. :( ADSL was not available, so the only way to play without problems is via a dedicated line. If anyone can suggest anything, I'd be happy to try it. I noticed that, strangely, after a crash, if I move around differently, it doesn't crash again. If I play the same way, it crashes. I haven't found anything interesting on other forums, except for playing via Hamachi. That's pretty much all I think about Ubi.

Is it possible to play Heroes 5 with more than four players? I've tried several times to use maps from their GSC for 6-8 players, but something doesn't work.

Why, when I enter my account and password, does it say that the username does not exist?

Sorry for the off-topic, but are there no servers where you can play without a key? The topic "Playing on ubi.com and through the Hamachi program" describes it, but it requires too many steps; it's easier to buy a key.

Here's a working Hamachi network, version 3.1, monitored by Pipec-Polnij. Also, Pipec-Polnij-1, code 123. There's also a network called SOSYAMBA, code 1. Come and play. For all the newcomers who are interested in watching how people play Heroes 5, subscribe to the live streams:)). Otherwise, they come in and don't even know how to divide their troops in Heroes. I think this will be very useful for those who are just starting to play Heroes. You can also find a guide on how to set up Hamachi for playing Heroes 5 on Windows 7 and Windows XP on this stream.

In general, I bought the disc, created a profile, but there aren't many games available (maybe it's not always like that). When I select a game, it says it's connecting to the channel, and I waited for 15 minutes, then I exited. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Do you have a legitimate copy? This is a problem with internet speed; waiting is unbearable. It takes 15 minutes to connect, but it connects immediately if everything is normal, so keep trying. Install Hamachi, play through Hamachi, or use Tunngle. I'm telling you, Ubi is terrible. It's much more interesting to play through Hamachi; the people there are friendlier, and you can chat. Of course, on Ubi, you have a better chance of connecting and playing immediately, but the people there are cold and uncommunicative. Playing sometimes takes a lot of time, so at least it's not boring to chat while you wait. So, look, if you need anything, I've posted my Hamachi or Tunngle details on the forums. It's pretty much the same as Ubi.

So, here's a suggestion. Check out the online topic on the mentioned website for a detailed description of how to play Heroes 5 online, how to generate maps using the alternative map generator IRMG, and a description of a map for a tactical duel HRTA, and so on... And then you can try your hand at this tournament. And by the way, there are no jerks here... :D
