Yes, that can happen. I don't remember the exact reason right now, but it might occur in certain cases – for example, if you load the AUTOSAVE.GM1 file instead of .GM2. And please, try to be less paranoid, or play through Garena.
Well, yeah, everyone here is paranoid... And some of them even check the save files and say, "thanks for the game..."
When a unit leaves the map during its turn, the game might advance the day for the opponent; this is a known bug.
I recommend loading a save file that you created manually, rather than relying on autosaves.
However, the issue of skipping turns can be resolved without it. After the crash, i.e., at the moment of "skipping," the game is already in single-player mode, so the autosave is not overwritten but is saved with the extension .gm1. You just need to load the autosave with the extension .gm2. The main thing is to immediately notice that a turn has been skipped; otherwise, when loading gm1 and passing the turn, the gm2 save will be overwritten and will become the same as gm1.

So, the date is 137. I'm red. After the blue player's turn, it's still 137. My turn 141 comes, I click "repeat turn," and then either the hero was dismissed, or something else happened; in short, my heroes disappear. I ask the opponent to load the autosave. He loads it.
But when his turn is passed, it becomes 142 for me.
Question: Has this happened to anyone else, and is there reason to believe this was a maphack? (in HotA)
A similar case happened, possibly from the same cause. Yesterday, I was playing with Oelm via direct IP, without Hamachi. So, I pass my turn, Pasha accepts it, but in my game, it says that the turn wasn't passed, even though, I repeat, Pasha received it and is playing normally. Naturally, I can't receive his turn. We load his save, Pasha loads it, passes it to me; sometimes it passes normally, and sometimes the same message appears for him, so then I send him my save. Interestingly, when I search for the correct save in the folder, I have both a normal autosave and an autosave from a day later, even though I haven't played that day yet. I might have mistakenly sent Pasha the save from the next day, and perhaps Pasha would have also complained that I had already taken my turn in single-player.
I think Roman didn't just use vampires; there's even a chance that 20 won't be enough. And what about the value of angel dwellings? The only thing I noticed is that there's a big variance in the 7th-level dwellings, which could be on any map.
Can someone explain what this is? An 8x12 template, a dead-end village.
So, what's the question? Is it about why there are аж 31 Cyclops guarding a single spot? Or how they were defeated? If they were defeated, maybe it was with a Water Elemental and some forgetfulness...
Дипломатия - искусство говорить собаке "хорошая собачка" до тех пор пока не найдешь подходящую палку.
There's a strange thing about the "Snitch" creatures – I tried to figure out their value, but couldn't, and the generator behaves very strangely.
Also, the variety of guards there is quite significant – sometimes you encounter a weak group like a pack of simple golems, and sometimes you face 35 "Bull" creatures or those cyclops.
I generated a map using the same template, with similar dead-end villages, and this is what we see (I assume that the value of the Portal of Glory is higher than that of a Bear Cave, but not by that much):

The point is that usually there are only about 20 of them guarding an Angel location.
