The Ruined Coronation
Since Nayra and Arandor were declared the new kings of Weskerland, the couple decided it was time to take their kingdom seriously. First of all, the rulers realized that the country needed to be renamed, as "Weskerland" felt completely out of place, which left them in a stupor. On one hand, Arandor was itching to rename Weskerland to Arandorworld or Crabland; on the other hand, Nayra desperately dreamed of calling it Nayrina Haven, but she was the one who realized that all these names smelled of geekiness and that it would be better to come up with something more original and less arrogant. In the end, both agreed that the name Heroesland would suit Weskerland just fine. And now, all that remained was the official coronation ceremony, in which the current king and queen would receive official titles, which would mean only one thing – their wedding.
Yes, unable to withstand the useless formalities and the annoying pressure of the tedious Arandor, Nayra finally agreed to an official marriage, after which she could peacefully kick Arandor out of her castle and move on with her life.
On the day of the official coronation, all the residents of Heroesland who could attend gathered in Heroes' Square. Finally, when Archbishop Vegtam finished his official speech, which surely no one was listening to, he proudly declared Arandor and Nayra king and queen, which meant husband and wife. After that, he suggested the happy Crab kiss his spouse.
- Sis, what a disgrace... ~_~
Meanwhile, somewhere in a corner...
- Thank you, Wolf! What would I do without you and your shadow clones capable of taking any form?!
- You're welcome ^___^ It would be cruel if I let you personally kiss Arandor. Though, I feel for the clone too... by the way! Why did you ask to make the clone a brunette? Aren't you afraid he'll suspect something?
- That was me testing him! I wanted to know what he was staring at so intently all the time. I knew why he didn't care about my face or the color of my hair! That pervert only stares at my chest! Well, no matter, I'll deal with him later...
While Nayra continued to be angry at her current husband, an attack was launched on Heroes' Square. Someone was attempting to take the lives of the rulers. Soon, everyone realized who the culprit was. It was Albert Wesker himself. Dressed in the clothes everyone was already used to, the man added the missing element: his favorite glasses, which the former ruler carefully wiped before putting them on. Albert stepped onto the stage and began his fiery speech:
- My dear and terribly unfaithful subjects – Wesker looked maliciously across the square – what traitors you all are! Only a year ago, you bowed at my feet, afraid to say a word! And now what? You take the crown from me, leave me with nothing, and give the throne to these two imposters! – Albert paused, wiped his glasses, and continued - I am ashamed of you! How can you entrust the crown to these two individuals? No, well, Arandor is fine, he has some use, but what about Nayra? Do you really think she will be a prudent queen capable of protecting her people? No, that will never happen! You are all useless to her! And your kindness and gratitude toward her will breed a monster that will most likely destroy you all.
- Please, no rudeness! – Nay stood up nervously. – I am not the selfish monster you want to make me! I fully understand what responsibility for one's subjects is. And I certainly don't intend to spread U.G., as you did! Well? Maybe you'll finally dare to tell the honest people about your plans? And about how you wanted to destroy everyone using U.G.?
- Stop! – Arandor was surprised – Nayra?! Then who is standing next to me right now? – the crab turned and saw an ordinary wolf in place of his beloved, who immediately vanished without a trace. – What does this all mean? And I kissed this... x(
- Who did you call "this"?! – the real Wolf flew into a rage.
- A pathetic sight – Wesker smirked, hoping the people hadn't overheard some details from Nay's speech. To his great regret, the residents did hear her words, and that meant only one thing – he needed to escape quickly to avoid unnecessary problems. – It's funny to look at you! You are all too stupid and naive to understand the genius of my ideas! Moreover, you all naively assumed that the villain was the one who was constantly trying to save you from danger. Fools! You are not worthy of my attention! Now I will leave you in peace, but know this: I will return, and then simple prayers for forgiveness will not save you, for they will not help you!
After these words, people noticed a helicopter in the sky, which had been waiting for Wesker all this time. The former king quickly climbed aboard, and as a farewell, laughed proudly for all to hear:
- Remember! This is not the end! I will have my revenge!
