The Third Night. The Last Word of the Dead Man.

The night sky was strange: it would become so clear and bright, then suddenly darken. The rain gradually subsided, which was very welcome, at least because the tavern's cellar wasn't bottomless. By morning, it had stopped completely; whether it would stay that way for long is another question. But for now, this offered some hope, although evil still lurked in the darkness.

Ple-Sen lay on the floor in the center of the room. He had two puncture wounds on his stomach, already covered with a black crust around the edges. Ple-Sen didn't die instantly; he even managed to leave a message, writing the word "Ironfist" on the floor with his own blood. The room smelled terribly of manure, and it had been difficult to be in here for a long time. Later, the guests found a strange hat near the door, resembling a fur cap.

During breakfast, everyone was surprised by the arrival of Happy Girl, who smelled wonderfully of lavender. However, there were also complaints: Registr complained about poor sleep, although he claims that an unusual flash of light in the corridor could have been the cause; Vegtam grumbled that he was being watched again by those same "boots"; Koteiko didn't see anyone, but the noise he heard made him draw certain conclusions. Also, Aziral` strongly complained about a headache.
