I have a question, I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I couldn't find anywhere else to ask. Basically, the question is: Is there a mod that changes the time of day in Heroes? And if so, where can I find it? I mean, something like in the campaign for the Elves, the map where you need to calm the resurrected king. It's like night there, and it looks pretty good. I haven't seen any other maps like that, and there's no such option in the map generator. Maybe there's another way to do it without a mod?

It's not about the time of day, but about the lighting. You can change it in the map editor. As for how – look for information on mapmaking or ask a question there.

Yes, you can set the lighting in the map properties to simulate a "night" effect, but there is no day/night cycle in the game. I don't think there are any mods that do this either: it's difficult for an amateur to organize.
