Round 6
OUTLAW vs Piterius 1-2
05.09.10 Piterius (red, Castle, Turis, Turis) def OUTLAW (blue, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti), 8mm6a, 212 SoD
Here I don’t even remember what I fell for with 113 remaining, probably a Dragon Utopia in the neutral zone.... Had a bit over a hundred Troglodytes, quickly took my Inferno computer, there were Griffin Conservatory 3-4. Broke through to the center, and there was an immediate block, either a Dragon Fly Hive or some Dread Knight nests with piles of resources. The Miner got Earth magic, I put all my efforts in the second week into leveling this skill. Went onto the cracked earth, where I painted the Inferno village. Left a scout there to explore the area. Behind the block in the center, I noticed movement of red flags. Toward the end of the week, I finally take the Griffin Conservatory rank 3 with oil, but the power and mana amount are a bit low, I have to go to a well, luckily there was one nearby. Gunnar found a Griffin Conservatory, to which two paths led — one through the rough terrain of the dungeon, or through the subway from the Inferno village. Then Turis breaks through and rides straight in that direction, ruining my plans to take the Griffin Conservatory by chain. Just in case, I leave Gunja smoking on the sidelines, maybe I can set up a chain under him and take this Griffin Conservatory. Luna from our teleport bursts into the center and kills as many as 3 enemy scouts who were reconnoitering behind Turis. Mid-3rd week, I decide to cut Turis off from the capital and try to take it. From my capital, I could transport future growth through the bushes, so I wasn’t afraid of an enemy raid. I ride to the opponent, along the way I successfully free a 10th-level Necromancer from prison, who scouted the area and told me where the Miner should go. On day 137, through stables, I reach the red capital. Turis, in turn, revealed the Griffin Conservatory I had been dreaming of))), I release Gunja from guard duty. Having taken the Griffin Conservatory, Turis charges at me. At the blue respawn, a Dragon Utopia was found, I decide to break it, since there’s nothing else left. Here I make the first, non-decisive mistake — I defeat the Miner in Inferno, where I pass the army via chain and plan to buy a peace from the opponent, but I overdo the buyout a bit and end up with 4.5k gold left. Turis attacks, and for the peace, 6+K gold is needed — I think, what a deer I am!!(( I have to endure one round, losing precious Troglodytes and another 2-3 high-level units, and buy peace in the 2nd round. Having purchased the army from Castle, I break a 2 — КЗ and something for the stats!!!! I immediately breathed easier, an awesome number of plans flooded my head  I buy the remaining army from Castle and portal to Inferno, where in a treasure there lay a sword +6 and shield +3/+3. I took all this loot and portaled to Dungeon to meet Turis, who had taken my Dragon Utopia. Here I make the second, probably decisive, mistake..... I thought for a long time about whether to accept battle behind the walls or meet in the garrison — I was very afraid of the Orb of Vulnerability, because in 8mm it’s often thrown, and not just one, especially since Peter also took a Dragon Utopia.... In short, I chickened out and accept the attack in the field.... where the opponent’s army decided everything((( No Orb and I realize that if I had played behind the castle walls, it would have been a win..... Oh well, trade and buy peace in Castle. Here I should have checked two Pandora’s Boxes on the grass next to Castle — 50/50 there could have been army, but I go stupid again, buy out tiers 1-4 from Tower and meet Turis at the teleport, again the trade not in my favor, again I retreat... The 5th week arrives, buying out the population from Castle, for as much gold as I had, and I decide to fight behind the Inferno fort. There, resistance decided in Turis’s favor. I don’t know how it would have turned out, if I had retreated right away and didn’t finish off Turis.... With Town Portal, I could have maneuvered for a long time, but I really didn’t want to let the reds out of my basement....
Thank you for the great game!!

15.08.10 Piterius (blue, swamp, Tazar, Broghild) def OUTLAW (red, Conflux, Moner, Moner), 2sm4d(3), 124 WT under SoD
Here it’s purely an SM-layout with the opponent’s native secondary skill. ГО off-road. I didn’t force the meeting, and it wouldn’t have worked — the road to the opponent was blocked by Dragon Fly Hive guards. Birds spawned first.
On the second, 2 Griffin Conservatories (2+3) and I go to the General adjacent zone, where the swampers had appeared the day before. Then FF, where Brogh’s Wyverns were simply unkillable, and 21 young cows inspired despair....
The loss was purely due to the layout...
Thank you for the game!!!
18.08.10 OUTLAW (blue, Castle, Valeska, Galtran) def Piterius (red, swamp, Bron, Solmyr), 8mm6(a),221, SoD
Here it gave Necromancer computer and Galtran in the tavern, and then it’s a matter of technique to amass an unkillable pile of skeletons.....
Peter hurried to gift me the victory by attacking himself.... Although if he had holed up in the castle, I really didn’t see how to kill him. Goshan already had all skill slots filled, no catapult skill. Breaking the catapult in the first round of siege would have led to disaster. I would have had to keep amassing and controlling the map, waiting for Solmyr to slip up. But I got lucky....
Thank you for the game!!
