I present to you the setting for the upcoming game. The start of registration is scheduled for Friday, September 10. The setting is designed for 16 participants.
Mafia 20 – Corpus delicti
Corpus delicti - Lat. "physical evidence".
Rules.1. Mage Guild – Vegtam, all actions, questions and suggestions via ICQ (403-882-055).
2. The game begins with the night. At night, players send Night Actions (NA) according to their role (if you decide not to use NA – notify the Mage Guild, otherwise it will be considered offline and may lead to a modkill). No one has the right to write anything in the game thread at night, even in "deleted posts". The day begins at 8:00 MSK and ends randomly between 23:30 and 00:00 MSK. Accordingly, the night continues from 23:30 (00:00) to 8:00. Actions are no longer accepted 10 minutes before the end of the night.
3. Player roles, upon their death/hanging, are revealed until only 10 participants remain in the city. At 10 or fewer - all roles remain hidden. Exception - a bloody murder by the maniac or the doctor's serum.
4. An eliminated player whose role is hidden remains silent about the game until the end. They have no right to write on the forum or to anyone in private messages about their role. Likewise, remaining participants have no right to write to them about what roles they possess. All discussions of roles are possible only between eliminated participants.
5. Private correspondence is permitted only for gang members and players who are in a game link. Of course, it's hard not to communicate when you study or perhaps even live with another participant. But try to avoid speaking openly about your roles. If you really want to discuss actions, discuss them objectively, as if you were an outside observer.
6. If a participant is absent from the forum for more than 24 hours for any reason, or appears on the forum but writes nothing in the game thread (even one message will do, preferably a vote against or for someone), then the participant is replaced by another with full transfer of the role, or a modkill is carried out without revealing the role.
Replacement is determined as follows:
a. A person wishing to play but who didn't make it into the game (who left a message in the applications).
b. The first killed peaceful citizen in the current game. Moreover, if this player was killed on the first night, their return to the game deprives them of immunity for the next one (provided that the returned player is not killed on the very first night after their return).
Naturally, the new entrant must know nothing about other roles and honestly admit to the moderator if they are aware of even one role.
7. During the game day, each player can cast a vote against (or in defense of) another player.
If you vote against, you must write the suspect's name and highlight it in red. For example: "I vote against
Vegtam"
If you want to protect someone, you must write the suspect's name and highlight it in blue. For example: "I don't believe
Vegtam is mafia".
If you access the internet via phone and cannot highlight the name with color, you must do as follows: Vegtam red (if against), Vegtam blue (if defending). Moderators will definitely highlight the name in the correct color.
During voting, your opinion may change, so you can freely change votes. But remember that only your last vote will be counted.
Also, do not forget about the specifics of some roles, such as the doctor. The doctor's blue vote counts as three.
Every participant is required to vote. Blue or red vote - it doesn't matter. The main thing is that they must cast their vote for someone. A non-voting participant receives two votes against themselves during the count.
8. Voting during the day must be done on the forum, in the game thread! Votes via private message/ICQ/Contact/mobile or any other means of personal communication to the moderator/friend/partner/Aunt Vale from the first entrance are not accepted.
9. If a player uses a screenshot of a private message received from the moderator to prove their role, the side this player plays for automatically loses.
10. First night immunity (impossibility of killing a person possessing it on the first night of the game) is given to the following participants:
- Those killed on the first night in the previous game.
- The moderator of the previous game
- Newcomers or players who missed more than two games.
However, immunity does not save a person from death that may result from the actions of their own role.
That is:
The Priest will still die of a heart attack after checking a maniac with bloody murders.
The Policeman may perish along with the person he visited if a maniac with a bloody murder also visited that same person.
Roles.Gangster Pack.Bandits (x4).Each member of the pack is assigned a rank: 1st rank (gang leader), 2nd rank, 3rd rank and so on. The Journalist does not have a rank. Night Actions are sent by the leader; if they are dead or cannot send an action – the message from the 2nd rank takes effect and so on.
NA1 – Murder.
NA2 – Double murder, in which case the highest of the current ranks of the pack is deprived of a vote for one day and with 75% probability their role is revealed in the "Gazette". Cannot be used if there are 5 or fewer players in the game
NA3 – Intimidation of 1-3 players, they are deprived of a vote for one day. When there are fewer than 10 living players, bandits cannot scare three; when fewer than 5 – only one can be scared.
Journalist.Plays for the bandits. If the rest of the pack is killed and only the journalist remains, they lose their special functions and become a simple bandit.
NA - Learns the role of a chosen participant. The result is published in the "Gazette", for example: "The Journalist interviewed the doctor today".
Neutral.Maniac.Plays for themselves.
PS – Paranoia, every night can hide from one chosen player; all actions of this player directed at the maniac do not work. Is saved from bandits only if hiding from the highest rank.
NA1 – Murder.
NA2 – Bloody murder, in which case the role of the killed is revealed in the "Gazette", and it is also indicated that the killed was a victim of the maniac, for example: "Player X, peaceful citizen, was bloodily murdered".
City.Private Detective.Plays for the city.
NA1 – Check a player for affiliation with the bandits, without specifying the role. Result: Player X is bandit/not bandit. The maniac does not belong to the pack.
NA2 – Murder; in the "Gazette", there is a 50% probability it will be indicated that the killed was a victim of the detective.
Detective's Assistant.Plays for the city.
Cooperates with the detective. When the detective checks a person, they learn the result of the check along with him. If the detective is killed, the assistant takes their place.
Doctor.Plays for the city. Cannot visit the same player two nights in a row, exception – if fewer than 5 players remain in the city.
PS - If voting blue, their vote counts as three, without revealing the role.
NA1 – Healing, either of a chosen person or the victim of a chosen role (bandits/maniac/detective). Cannot heal the victim of a role if only one negative side remains in the city (pack/maniac) or if fewer than 10 people remain in the city. If the pack kills two and the doctor heals from bandits, they save only one of the victims, chosen randomly. Can heal themselves.
NA2 – Deprives the target of a vote for two days.
NA3 – Serum, revelation of a character's role; cannot be used two nights in a row. The player whose role was revealed has a 50% probability of learning the doctor's nickname.
Policeman.Plays for the city. Cannot visit the same player two nights in a row.
NA – Blocking, also saves the target from all actions directed at them, except checks by the commissioner/journalist/priest and bloody murder – during a bloody murder, they die along with their target. Bandit action is blocked only if the policeman visits the highest of the current ranks of the pack. With 50% probability deprives the target of a vote during the day.
Priest.Plays for the city.
NA – Confession, learns about all actions performed by the parishioner over the past nights, but does not learn the role (for example, if a bandit, commissioner and maniac each used NA Murder every night, they will be identical to the priest). If the bandits killed even once, it will be considered during confession that every member of the pack killed. If he confesses a maniac who has committed at least one bloody murder during the game – dies of a heart attack. If he confesses a policeman, loses their vote for one day.
Peaceful Citizen (x5).Plays for the city. A simple citizen without special abilities.
I strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with the rules and roles in advance and asking all your questions beforehand.
