First of all, I played not in spite of arguments, but in spite of the participants' unwillingness for me to play here!!!
Because I believe that to change something, you must participate.

In principle, I am in favor of starting a new tournament rather than continuing this one.

Furthermore, I will only play if saves are made on a version no lower than 3.2 and TE! I've looked at this "Complete Collection 4.0"
It's a nightmare; bugs from all versions are combined and now pop up regardless of who is playing!
But I don't know what the unfortunate owners of 4.0 should do; it doesn't patch properly. It starts crashing.

To the essence of the rules.
Everyone should have the ability to play! Participants are those who sent saves. I suggest significantly reducing the time limit for completing tasks.
Play for days, not points, at least.
Play only once. No "reconnaissance by fire"! We keep the ban on cheat codes and map viewing. A ban on using bugs of both the game and the map is mandatory!
Whoever couldn't do it in one go—they couldn't; you can play any number of tasks.

The start date for the second tournament should be no earlier, but also no later than the beginning of November.

Let's formulate the idea first.
As I understand it, the essence is playing without re-plays and reconnaissance.
Everything else is just detail.
If that's the idea, I'm ready to support it.
However, we need to reduce the play time immediately. It's utopian to think that those who played all 40 days did so because of a lack of time. Just look at the forum activity to doubt this.
Second—switching to TE; there you can ban cheat codes entirely, meaning if there is no map, reconnaissance is completely impossible.
And third, full openness of the tournament—anyone who wants to play plays.
Preferably more variety in tasks and a move away from playing for points—but that's not the most important part.
The fundamental question is the judging of the tournament.
It would be better if at least one final save from each participant were posted on the forum for verification using programs to check for cheating! I can ask Natasha; she won't refuse to check saves.

P.S. I suggest changing the poll! If it were a new tournament, then maybe. But as it is, I won't answer—I simply wasn't accepted here!!!

A tournament is good. But until there is certainty regarding the method of conduct, I cannot give a definitive decision on participating. But if a discussion starts, I will make a feasible contribution.

No, I won't; I already applied for one tournament but couldn't participate! Simply, when I study, I am away from home, meaning no access to Heroes or the internet! (possibly in summer or during winter break)

Regarding the tournament versions, I agree, it's simply necessary to play on version 3.2 or higher and on the TE version, as this is the best option... :) I myself have Platinum (yes, all the bugs are in one collection:D)... I will have to find SoD somewhere and patch it... what can you do, it has to be done... Of course, all forum members who want to participate can play, together it's more fun and interesting... more competition... Regarding playing for points or days, we will play for days or time; the tasks will be varied, so it will be interesting... :) Regarding the duration, I agree with 3 weeks... We need to think about a point system, a "honor" system... ;)

I have WoG 3.2! I install TE – it says that the wog files are damaged (is broken). What’s wrong?
Maybe I need to upgrade WoG first (i.e., to 3.58)? Although I doubt it.
Or am I downloading something wrong? The site where I downloaded it says "add-on" in parentheses and it weighs very little, but Natasha wrote about a size of 30 MB.
Please advise what to do?

As for changing level 4 spells for heroes and other things, these are just details. I'm in favor of either eliminating this freebie or prohibiting the use of spells until the magic tower of the required level is built (as it was in the online version!). Also, it would be better to immediately prohibit adding monsters – it would be more interesting and fairer!

Regarding the game version. In a ranked tournament with 8 players, only one didn't have TE. But the main thing is that there are no bugs in the save. And for this, TE should only be with one person who will generate the saves!
Playing for points makes it difficult to summarize the results. But days and points are also a game of speed.
Regarding the timing, I don't really want to wait long for the next assignments and would prefer to play all 9 in a week or two.

If it's 3.0, you need to go to the main page of HW, to the files section, and download the patch! It's only 2 Mb!
