If you believe that the Arbitration Committee (AK) has, in fact, earned this right through the election process, then no problem, let them make the final decisions regarding you.
But as for me, I'm sorry, a little more is needed.
Of course. No one forces anyone to contact the AK. Those who want the AK to investigate and resolve the issue can do so; the AK will always investigate and make a decision. Those who don't want to, don't have to... Who would be against that...?
Added after 1 minute Ah yes, there are also cases where one person wants to contact the AK, and the other doesn't... Alex The Great probably didn't want to...
Всё не так плохо как Вы думаете. Всё намного хуже!
As for me, please excuse me, but I need a little more. Otherwise, I will have to prove to you in every discussion that the decision made is the correct one.
If you sign up for any tournament on HW, you will be obliged to follow its rules. In case of a controversial situation involving your participation, the decision will be made by the AK. If the decision seems unfair to you, you will have the opportunity to appeal it to ATG and Forrest. I understand that you want to be more important than the AK, and that if you don't like its decision, it would be overturned, but you need to accept that:p
You should sign up for any tournament on Hv – it’s a must.
You probably noticed that I haven’t been signing up for Hv tournaments lately. And it’s for the reason you mentioned.
I’m ready to sign up for tournaments hosted by those who share my opinion about the role of Hv in the forum’s life. But submitting to Dubrovin would be disrespectful to myself…
And regarding “you’ll fail,” it sounds funny :). I would say that rather, the Hv community is failing because top players like Alex, Forrest, and many others aren’t participating in its tournaments.
This is clearly demonstrated by the participants in the CIS championship – out of 18 people, only 2 are from Hv (Pit and Aldegir), the rest are from Bay, Portal, and a few are neutral.
To submit to Dubrovin is to disrespect yourself...
Do you think almost the entire Hv community disrespects itself? And may I ask, what are you doing here, why do you need to communicate with such people? Are you trying to set them on the right path? It's pointless; everyone here is quite mature and will figure out on their own whether to submit to someone or not. You should go away from here, towards Forrest and ATG – I think it would be better for you and everyone else.

He said that the Hv community is more disappointed that top players like Alex, Forrest, and many others are not participating in his tournaments.
No, I'm not disappointed that ATG isn't participating, and I think many others aren't either.

Which is clearly demonstrated by the composition of participants in the CIS championship – out of 18 people, only 2 are from Hv (Pit and Aldegyr), the rest are from Bay, Portal, and a few neutrals.
Lol, don't connect events that have nothing to do with each other. The qualifiers for the CIS championship were long before the story with ATG. By the way, why weren't Forrest and ATG there?
Wicc Message from Wicc said that the HeroesWorld community is rather disappointed that top players like Alex, Forrest, and many others do not participate in its tournaments.
No, honestly I'm not disappointed that ATG doesn't participate, and I think many others aren't either.
Yeah, sure Vic, don't be sad, regarding ATG — thank God he doesn't participate anywhere here! Many people are just sick of his showing off here

Сейчас балуюсь этим https://vcmi.eu/download/ За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
Does he really disrespect almost everyone in the Heroes community?
Well, why would he immediately disrespect them... most people respect themselves by default, even if there's no reason for others to respect them. Therefore, there are several common reasons:
1) Self-esteem is low enough that submitting to Dubrovin is not perceived as something abnormal.
2) There is a lack of understanding of what kind of person Comrade Dubrovin is. This is normal; not everyone understands it right away, especially if a person is somewhat on the sidelines. Some groups have already understood this; the rest may understand it a little later.
3) The effect of defending one's own. It's roughly like telling a wife that her husband is chasing women, or that her child is getting into trouble; the first reaction will, of course, be to defend them and send the author of such information away. But later, at home, when no one is watching, complaints will begin.
4) The totem effect - you need to hide behind someone's back, take the blow on them. Dubrovin is quite suitable for this role - he goes ahead like a glutton, stoically endures being hit with rotten eggs, and maintains optimism like a girl in a helmet.
5) And then there are those who simply don't care; there are quite a few of them.
I remind you once again that the world is much more complex than your concise and categorical views of it; every phenomenon has many layers of different content and direction. This is especially noticeable when a strong deformation load occurs - each layer behaves differently.
But wouldn't you, Ketch, want to do something worthwhile for the benefit of HeroesWorld, or never mind HeroesWorld for HoMM players — at least push through some clarification to a rule with its justification and a description of why it would be better this way...
It makes me want to cry and scream: yes, yes, yes! I am ready to step away from the path of evil and finally do a good deed!!! Only here's the trouble... Even if we take only the rules, let's say, on the Portal I at least took part in developing almost all the rules. That's for HoMM players in general, and for the World... well, I think the fact that offline tournaments for the Third are held on HeroesWorld using HeroesPortal rules already says something. I'll keep quiet about the rest, since "it's not good to boast about good deeds" (c) Snezhanna Denisovna.
It makes you want to cry and shout: yes, yes, yes! I'm ready to step away from the path of evil and finally do something good!!! ...
Since you're setting the tone, I'll translate my post into Russian for you.))
What exactly do you want, let me understand? - that AK works better - that AK doesn't exist - your own option
All you're doing is flooding the chat; where is anything written by you that is beneficial or contributes to the development of online games? * And why should I help you? I haven't even played a single game or plan to, so why should I care about all this? You're the ones who showed up here...
Vik has done a lot of useful things, but I don't quite understand him right now, or is this some kind of advertising stunt to promote TE... I don't know... /Catch, it's a deep thought, don't rush to answer, think about it first, Vik ;) /
Vik - did a lot of useful things, but right now I don't quite understand him, or is this some kind of promotional move for the development of TE ... dunno ...
How the people got scared :). They're already imagining all sorts of hidden schemes and multi-move combinations. In reality, it's all much simpler.
The main goal is the development of the Heroes movement. Development in breadth, development in depth. This goal is distant, abstract, and without specific benchmarks, which is precisely what makes it convenient. With this goal in mind, I run tournaments, write articles, communicate on the forum, refine TE/WT, etc.
Of course, one cannot limit oneself to purely constructive activity here; sometimes you have to destroy what was previously created or put down all sorts of inadequate freelance initiatives. Moreover, while I created various features that weren't always on point — there were mistakes and unsuccessful experiments — I destroyed almost everything that was justified, at least the course of subsequent events convinced the majority that it was bound to happen.
As for the AC — this experiment seemed strange to me from the very beginning, and I wrote about it even then, though not particularly aggressively, as it was still just an intuitive feeling, not firm conviction.
The reasoning was also laid out back then, and it was roughly as follows — "what for?" That is, what actual niche could this body fill? Going through the options, I realized none in particular — for settling disputed episodes, tournament judges are sufficient; for reviewing season games, 1-2 season judges are enough; cheating investigations will be handled by the entire forum anyway, etc.
That is, all the niches that the AC lays claim to are already occupied, and have been for many years; certain traditions and understandings of how things are done here have developed. After all, it's been over 10 years for Heroes.
Therefore, an attempt to intrude into this established ethical ecosystem with a charter clearly alien to it inevitably leads to an epic fail, which we had the opportunity to witness firsthand. If it weren't for Alex's case, it would have been something else — historical inevitability.
When I participated in AC-supervised tournaments on HeroesWorld, I didn't bother my head with the thought that the AC might strongly object to something. I figured they'd have enough sense not to throw themselves under the wheels, but instead take a wait-and-see position and let people sort things out themselves.
In fact, many people thought so, so the initiator of such a showdown could have been a very wide range of players. Moreover, it doesn't even necessarily require a serious accusation like cheating; the very fact of opposing bureaucracy with Cossack-style freedom is important, while the pretext is secondary.
There's too much anarchic romance in the Heroes movement, a desire for the freedom to choose one's own leaders and idols; imposing a bureaucratic system of "you elected them — now obey" is fraught with a mass of conflicts.
So no matter how you slice it, avoiding conflicts with top players (some leave — new ones grow) under such AC regulations is unrealistic. The matter can be mitigated by choosing the AC composition correctly — if it consists of older people well-acquainted with the traditions of Heroes communities, with experience in resolving conflict situations in tournaments, there's a chance to smooth over the rough edges.
The previous AC composition was clearly youthful, without serious judging experience, without experience observing schisms and reunifications of groups. For many of them, HeroesWorld seems to be their first serious Heroes community altogether. It's no wonder that many things obvious to me turned out to be revelations for them.
So anyway — ideally, it's better to have no bodies like the AC at all, but if one wants to play around with this trinket (I understand the idea is attractive, many are drooling over it), then precautions should be taken. For example, create a situation where mentions of the AC on the forum are kept to a minimum, and it's brought out like a machine gun from the closet — only when a serious fight is underway.
For contrast — Dubrovin's regular phrases "The AC will consider your request" (uttered clearly not without pride) evoke a persistent association with pompous bureaucracy, not understanding that ideally they are servants of the people, not masters. Therefore, it's better if these phrases don't exist at all, or at the very least, if they're not uttered by Dubrovin — for others, it might not be as jarring. As a trial, one could add a clause to the AC regulations with roughly the following content — AC members are forbidden from mentioning the name "AC" (and its synonyms) publicly, as well as using the word "we" in reference to the AC.
If the Players of Vol'da have granted the Arbitration Committee (AC) certain rights, such as the right to make the final decision in a disputed situation, I support the AC's right to make that decision.
If the Players of Vol'da remove the AC's right to make the final decision, then so be it.
If they want to resolve disputed situations themselves or choose a Judge, then that's fine too.
I said this before, and I repeat it now.
The constant mention that I am trying to seize Power is amusing.
I repeat - I am in favor of equal rights for all members of the AC.
