Why isn't the chat working, and will it ever work again?

It would be nice to have something like a mini-chat, so there would be less load on the server.

The God-Admin promised to fix it. Though, it's unclear when that will be... *poked the God-Admin with a stick*

He answers all questions and suggestions with, "It's not possible right now, the forum will glitch. But when the next forum upgrade is scheduled..."

When will it be scheduled...
