Posts from Reports on online games and their confirmations (Winter 2009-10 season).
In the tavern, Ivor brought 6 elves. On the first secondary, Conf, there I put Storm in the Citadel, at home horses in the Castle. On the second, I took another secondary, Tower, ranked up Kyrre well, and on the third through an adjacent passage to the enemy. Thanks for the game.
FireToSky (blue, Dungeon, Shakti, Charna) def Joachim (red, Castle, Valya, Valya), Panic, 134 For the first time, I managed to play as a Necromancer not in my native Castle! 111 - 6 heroes, 5 Charna appeared, and we'll make her the main hero! There are exactly 159 Trolls, and the starting artifact is an axe +2. The heroes are riding butterflies. 113 - 7 heroes, expert wizardry. 114 - a dwarf hero at level 15. 115 - a dwarf hero at level 10, they gave me Earth. Weekly results: 1-6 in the Castle, 144 skeletons, they gave me a health ring in the chest. 121 - they gave me a Log. 122 - I'm clearing the 20-49 Ruins, secondary Barbarians. 124-125 - two maxed-out Crypts with Rogues, 200 Imps, a Necromancer village. Expert Log. 126 - secondary Rampart, 10 heroes. 127 - I'm taking the Speed Gloves with Rogues. 133 - I bought all the meat in the Castle, even upgraded the Harpies, I'm taking the red Castle village, and I'm staying there overnight. 134 - Valya settled in the Necromancer village (for some reason), didn't buy the whole army, I'm attacking! 312 skeletons, a 3-week-old army, the stats are slightly worse than Valya's. The skeletons are doing their job - GG! Thank you for the game!
My opponent's choice surprised me, since there was also a swamp; we took the respawn and off we went.. I played overly aggressively, and because of that I was constantly on the edge. Lots of shooter blocks, and Müllich breaks through with archers, pikemen, and gremlins to the metro with relatively small losses. There were marksmen; I climb in and, having brought swords along, I go for them. I climbed out with 1 sword, 7 pikemen, and minus 3 marksmen - tolerable. I run further - there's a block of Grand Elves. At the other end of the map I put Tyraxar to break a passage for mages; around the respawn a chain is being built to also take a crypt for money for champions. The crypt, as luck would have it, is max (2 out of 3 at the respawn being max - brutal). I fought with the female hero (Intelligence + Scroll of Lightning Bolt) - I got lucky that the skeleton stack left 3 health on the sword, otherwise they'd most likely have killed me. I climbed out with 17 marksmen out of 23, immediately buy 2 champions, and this crappy army manages to cut through 18 mages with a master genie stack, losing only 4 marksmen and 1 pikeman (Tyraxar has Expert Tactics). I take the Barbarian; there are birds there, Citadel houses. The scout hero goes to scout the underground treasure zone - turned out to be a poor one. 3 Griffin Conservatories and 2 rather inconvenient hives are revealed. There are no decent treasure spots in nature; goblins don't count, so it's unclear what to go into the Griffin Conservatories with. Kyrre is offered water, I decline; Tyraxar gets earth. I decide to level him up in the Dwarf and Medusa dwellings in week 2. As luck would have it, earth doesn't get Expert; I think, I'll go a bit further - I'll get Expert from the Peasant Soldiers. There were 48 of them, and their morale cost the lives of 2 champions, about a dozen marksmen, and something else. Earth becomes Expert, LOL, just dunno what to do now. I decide to act as planned - I defeat Tyraxar, buy a spell book, and go into a Griffin Conservatory - I check: level 3, risky, but I go in. Around 26 marksmen, 3 Champions, 5 Swordsmen, 12 Hounds, 7 Griffins, 3 Roc, and about a dozen Pikemen. RNG returned the morale debt - the marksmen procced morale for the first 3 rounds, sometimes with luck, and it got to the point where arrows ran out, but still: 20 marksmen, 2 Champions, and 3 Angels. I give Kyrre to check the 2nd Griffin Conservatory in a nook - it's a mini, gets taken. Well, after that it's not very interesting - a Dragon Utopia with KZ in the treasure zone and on day 141 the paths of Tyraxar and Kyrre diverged. Kyrre clears the treasure zone down to 0; Tyraxar, with 3 Ironfist Bears and 9 Thunderbirds from secondary, heads into another treasure zone, slowly gobbling up what's manageable. On day 146, Kyrre, after stables with Boots and Gauntlets, is on Speed at the Archery range before ГО. 11 Archers, 2.5 dozen Angels, and over a hundred marksmen take 2 towns per turn, and capitulation follows.
Was surprised by my opponent's choice, since there was also swamp; we took the rest and off we went.. I played overly aggressively, because of which I was constantly on the edge. Lots of shooter blocks, and Mullich breaks through with archers, pikemen and gremlins into the metro with relatively small losses. There are marksmen there, I go in and bring swords on them as well. Come out with 1 sword, 7 pikemen and minus 3 marksmen - tolerable. I run further - there's a block with griffins. On the other end of the map I put Tirathor to open a passage for mages, around the respawn I build a chain to also grab the crypt for gold for cavalry. The crypt, as luck would have it, is maxed (2 out of 3 on the respawn are maxed - insane). I hit it with a sorceress with Intelligence and a scroll of Arrow - got lucky that the skeleton stack left my sword with 3 health, otherwise they'd probably have killed it. I come out with 17 marksmen out of 23, immediately buy 2 horses, and this pathetic army manages to hack through 18 mages with a grand stack, losing only 4 marksmen and 1 pikeman (Tirathor has advanced Tactics). I take Barbarian, there are birds, a Citadel home. The scout hero goes to scout the underground treasure zone - turns out it's lousy. 3 Griffin Conservatories are revealed and 2 pretty inconvenient Hives. No decent caches exist in nature, goblins don't count, so it's unclear what to go into the Griffin Conservatories with. Water is offered to Kyrre, I decline; Earth is offered to Tirathor. I decide to level him in gnomes and medusas on week 2. As luck would have it, Earth is not Experted; well, I think I'll go a bit further and Expert it off the soldiers. There are 48 of them, and their morale took the lives of 2 horses, about a dozen marksmen, and some other stuff. Earth is Expert, LOL, just don't know what to do now. I decide to act as planned - I beat Tirathor, buy a spell book and check the Conservatory - 3rd level, risky, but I go in. Around 26 marksmen, 3 Champions, 5 Swordsmen, 12 dogs, 7 Griffins, 3 Roc-riders and about a dozen pikemen. RNG repaid the morale debt - the marksmen had morale for the first 3 rounds, sometimes with luck, and it got to the point where arrows ran out, but still 20 marksmen, 2 Champions and 3 Angels; I give Kyrre the go-ahead to check the 2nd Conservatory in the corner - it's a mini, gets taken. Well, after that it's not very interesting - a Dragon Utopia with KZ in the treasure zone and on road 141, the paths of Tirathor and Kyrre diverged. Kyrre clears out the treasure zone down to zero, Tirathor with 3 silver mice and 9 Thunderbirds from secondary skills goes into another treasure zone, slowly gobbling up the manageable stuff. 146 Kyrre after stables with Boots and Gauntlets at speed on Archmagi in front of a GO. 11 Archmagi, 2.5 dozen geese and over a hundred marksmen capture 2 towns in one turn, followed by a capitulation.
Thanks for the game.
All correct! Thanks to Roman for the game! I also played on the edge, though at first that edge cut me down in the medusa lair where they critically froze everyone to death! After capturing the Necropolis, I decided to create a strike stack, transformed all the 1st and 2nd levels from Barbarian and Swamp towns! Everything's okay, but morale, damn it, is below rock bottom! Skeletons cut down Griffin stacks to death, but other types like geese and the rest of the army just take heavy losses! As a result, loss of tempo and I couldn't take three Dragon Utopias even though I got right next to them! And I would've taken them in principle without major losses (I checked later), but I think it wouldn't have helped! :)

loi(red, ramp,Kyrre,Kyrre)def GoD(blue, confl,Inteus,Luna) 2sm4d(3) 127 I managed to catch Luna off guard while she was rushing, having observed all her movements from a vantage point for several days... Then I reached the Conflux, where I consumed a Pandora unit for 10,000 experience points and stormed the castle with a scout and 4 birds, successfully. Respect to my opponent for placing birds on the first road, even though there was only one path to the God artifact. By turn 127, I had built both the castle and reached 2000. Thank you for the game.

loi(red, ramp,Kyrre,Kyrre)def GoD(blue, confl,Inteus,Luna) 2sm4d(3) 127 Managed to catch Luna while she was rushing, having seen all her movements from the watchtower for several days... Then I reached the conflux, ate a Pandora's box with 10k experience, and stormed the castle with a scout and 4 griffins, successful. Respect to the opponent for placing griffins on the first tile when there was only one road to GO, and by turn 127 he had built both the castle and the 2000... Thanks for the game.
Placed the griffins with effort... in the first 3 days I only had money for construction — just 4 heroes... I took the mercury on day 7 with a well... by that time I had revealed the Griffin Conservatory on the native respawn, but decided to take the crypt first... that's when I got caught)))
Yes... pity Luna got caught((((... Only she wasn't rushing, for her a couple of fire elementals would have been just right)))
Gundula arrived and decided to run around with them... secondary Rampart, homes 1-6 in Citadel + 1000 and an external dwelling of Lizardmen 2nd Conservatory (1+2) and broke into the treasure zone 3rd I take out 130+ Gorgons for the Sphere of Fire and Medal of Vulnerability, at level up offered Fire, didn't refuse and did the right thing, in one of the Pandora's boxes they gave all the fire:) there was no meat for the Dragon Utopia and mana ran out quickly, had to break off and head home, the quest artifact for 20k gold was a pleasant surprise 4th buyout and onto ГО 90+ Unicorns laid themselves down, the next day the capital fell, followed by Vale only from the Griffin Conservatory...
Scary to even look at the date myself :) The win goes to the generator, of course — I got a decent draw plus Gosu, while my opponent got an awful one. The map is generally very poor; we scoured the entire thing but never found the lone minimal Dragon Utopia. Still, it was cunningly placed in my swamp hex (accessible via Dimension Door from Deriel's Inferno or my Dungeon). In the first treasure zone, I don't really remember finding anything — actually no, there was a Blue Cloak behind a hundred Sharpshooters, impossible to kill no matter how much I wanted to. On the third week, I found the only third-level Griffin Conservatory in the swamp, then upgraded Angels into the Castle. In the second treasure zone, in a corner, there was all the Fire Elementals and behind them the Air Elemental — made my crawling significantly faster. :) On the fourth week, I somehow grinded down 8 Archangels and flew to the blue player's starting zone, but it was completely empty... Took a very long time to find Kir'ra; enjoyed many interesting fights with skeletons (-2 Archangels and some minor losses) I collected +4 HP — became virtually unkillable. Two Angels killing 45 blue Monks without magic — crazy. Could have assembled the Cloak of the Undead King, but couldn't be bothered to make an extra move. Same with the Mage Well. In the third treasure zone, it was empty again — at that point, Deriel couldn't stand my crawling anymore and formally attacked me first. Anticipating Armageddon, I sacrificed a Cerberus on the Efreets. Armageddon didn't kill much :)
Thanks for the game and the positive chat. Always happy to play with you
Kash (red, Castle, Valenska, Galtran) def Deriel_Linch (blue, Rampart, Kirr, Kirr), 2sm4d(3), 227 Confirmed. I wasn't very happy with the mountain range on my map, which I had to go around (losing centaurs in ranged bottlenecks) for 3-4 days. On day 116, I break through to the dungeon, scout from the observatory, and see the opponent's secondary dungeon. Then, on day 117, Gosha attacks me with a hundred skeletons, and I bribe him with 4 elves). The united ones didn't stand. Then I run to my secondary dungeon on the swamp and spend the second week there. On day 131, I take the Hive (8) and with 12 wyverns, I feel a bit more confident. In the third week, I run to the lava. I find a hidden ifrit and place them in the Fortress. Then, I try some tactical maneuvers hoping for control, but I couldn't find it. Thanks for the game.

FireToSky (blue, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran) def Van (rare, red, Sylvan, Wistan, Gunnar), Panic, 125 Created a lot of skeletons, and the opponent decided not to continue. Thanks for the game!
As usual, the sun, high in the sky, was radiating a considerable amount of heat. Flies buzzed around incessantly, and the heat beat down mercilessly on my head and back. The air was filled with the disgusting smell of smoke, burnt wood, and rotting flesh. I stood on a small hill, high enough to see everything beyond the partially burnt palisade surrounding what was once a thriving village. The sight was truly appalling. The charred remains of the villagers' homes and barns. A small tower of mages, miraculously still standing, was partially collapsed, as if a giant ram had been used against it. The Temple of Valhalla had somehow remained untouched, although its walls were blackened from the numerous fireballs that had struck it during the attack. And of course, the crimson color of the earth, stained with blood, and the corpses, corpses, corpses... - These are Dungeon creatures, my lord. There are witnesses. We are also receiving reports from scouts about the looting of two Dwarf banks. Each bank had 100 Dwarf guards, and they were all killed. This village was burned down relatively recently. The battle took place at night, and our forces were caught off guard. These creatures are particularly effective in the dark... My adjutant looked dejected, his face expressing universal sorrow for the fallen. I patted him encouragingly on the shoulder. "We will definitely avenge them, I swear," I said. We needed to act quickly. The creatures from the Dungeon are formidable opponents. They emerge unexpectedly from caves, sweep through the night like a hurricane, destroying everything in their path, looting and killing. Then they retreat back into the labyrinth of caves, where they can be searched for endlessly. The only way to lure them out is to deceive them, trap them above ground until dawn, and then give them a good thrashing. They seem to have forgotten the lesson we taught them 20 years ago, when we defeated countless hordes of troglodytes, captured a couple of their underground cities, and destroyed or sealed with spells the underground tunnels leading to us. However, Heroes are appearing in their ranks again, leading them, and war is looming once more. - Summon the centurion! Also, order the soldiers to dig a mass grave and bury the bodies of all the villagers. The remaining livestock should be slaughtered and given to the soldiers as rations. The ruins should be covered with earth. The adjutant, clattering with his boots, rushed off to carry out the orders. I headed towards my tent, which was located a little further from the main camp. I needed to wait for the centurion and together develop a plan for the upcoming actions. I spread a map on the table, placed stones on the edges, and began to examine it. It's interesting... We might not have to expect a direct confrontation in the coming days. The nearest exit from the giant cave is guarded by rusty dragons, very dangerous creatures, to say the least. It's unlikely that the enemy will risk venturing out through them in the next two weeks. To the south-southeast, there are settlements of goblins and wolf riders. I should send messengers to them, I thought. Additional troops would be helpful. What else... The adjutant burst into the tent. He handed me intelligence data, gathered by scouts flying on Rukh birds, surveying the area for potential enemies. Aerial reconnaissance reports some interesting news. The landscape beyond the nearby mountains is similar to this area, possibly indicating the presence of a Barbarian bastion. And what's this? Ah... there is also a passage to the caves, very interesting information. - May I speak? - Centurion, of course, come in, listen carefully to the following orders... And so, the fierce Barbarian forces went into battle, sometimes with outstretched fingers, sometimes gathering in attack formations, we stormed into the neighboring territory of the mountains, capturing their capital. The enemy forces, which at the time were without the blue flag, foolishly attacked us, were stopped at the very edge of the mountains, repulsed, and crushed by the power of a ram attack on the flank. At that time, a strike force of their thunderbirds, raiders, and hobgoblins was assembled. Assaults were carried out on griffin and utopia dragon conservatories. Just as I was about to order the start of a frontal assault through the dragons, the vanguard of my forces clashed head-on with the forces of the Dungeon creatures. There were frankly few of them, most likely this is some kind of reconnaissance unit, and not a full-fledged regular army. After a brief skirmish, their hero fled, leaving the army to me... A small victory, for now, everything is going well, and only a small thought torments me - this is not the end, not the end, not the end...

Deriel_Linch (blue, Rampart, Kirr, Kirr) def Pradromalo (red, Castle, Valya, Valya) 2sm4d(3) 126 Starting situation - I see a golden bow and sword +2+2 for 20+ harpies, which blocked half of my starting area. Looking at the other half that I had left, I saw a mine with wood and some gold. I decide to continue. I run further along the road to the secondary resource point and see another group of 10+ cyclops with a +6 club. I didn't go around them; instead, I left the road and started clearing out the crypts and the dwarf mine. Coronius found a market on the grass, which greatly helped in setting up cavalry in the stronghold. 121 - with the growth bonus, I break through 30+6 harpies, then with silver creatures, I kill 8+4 cyclops. Then I run to the secondary resource point, visit the stables, and head back home. On day 126, I break into the underground and see an alchemist with a pouch and stats of 2232. With the bow and 20+ elves, the battle ended after the elves dealt 40 damage in the first round. Thank you for the game.
