You both log into Hamachi, one creates a network, gives the other the network name and password, and the second player joins the first player's network. Then, both of you minimize Hamachi (don't exit).
Then, one of you creates a game through Multiplayer, using TCP/IP, and the second player also joins through the same mode. In the game, the second player clicks the "Find" button when the first player has created the game, and enters the IP address that is displayed next to the first player's name in Hamachi.

In the future, when you play again, the second player won't need to manually enter the first player's IP address in the "Find" button. The first player will be displayed with an open door in the game, and the second player will simply need to click "Enter," selecting the correct door in the game.

Update: I finally managed to do it thanks to the pLan program. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much faster data is transmitted compared to Hamachi (which can be described with one word - PROBLEM), and this, accordingly, allows you to play games like NFS, FIFA, and so on. By the way, even in Heroes, it's impossible to play normally through Hamachi :D Before this program, I also tried playing through GameSpy Arcade and GameSpy Comrade - it was a pointless exercise. Nothing worked. I also tried to bypass GGC, which is Garena, but that didn't work either. In general, today I played Heroes with a friend, and we are incredibly happy after 3 days of struggling :) It's really great! I recommend that everyone who has an external IP install pLan! Hamachi is simply 49023859038503850387593 times worse. P.s. It all started when a friend said that the Undead would completely crush the Elves (HAHAHAHAHAHA), of course, I didn't agree, and we decided to have a duel. It doesn't work. We tried creating everything, and every time, when it gets to the last player in the queue, the data isn't sent. I turned off the firewall and completely uninstalled the antivirus. Heroes runs fine on Windows 7; there are no freezes or compatibility issues. I'm just getting discouraged after 4 days of failures.

Maybe your friend just has a bad connection? It happens sometimes... The only sure way to fix it with a bad connection is to change providers :D

Sometimes restarting Hamachi helps.
