Both were talented - Letos with logistics, Darkness, and boots, and Sinithar with Chaos, a book, and BDP - but one thing upset me - the third move from the castle, and a lot of black dragons guarding it. So, there was a plan to meet the Humans as early as possible, because their training scares everyone. I thought and thought about how to defeat the dragons, and I came up with a plan, and then I received a message about immorial's surrender - now I deeply respect him.

Confirmed. It seemed to be going well, but I was never offered a log, so maybe it would have been faster. The development went well; I was also leveling up Lucretia with my second hero, and by the end, she was around level 15 with expert Dark magic. By the middle of the 4th week, I leveled up Laslo to level 20, but I only managed to upgrade Light to expert; Dark was advanced because I was aiming for education. In the castle, I had words at level 5, and teleport in Light at level 4. The city zone bordered Treasury, so I jumped directly there at 1_4_6. At 1_4_7, I took the spell shop, bought Resurrection there, but I couldn't get Vampirism because Dark wasn't expert :( . If it had been, I wouldn't have had any more problems, but instead, I went to take the Ring of Sary and lost there. My army was 55 red Incas, 100 red archers, and 3 stacks of 2 peasants (BDP). The guard was 130 light unicorns, 9 black dragons, 75 yellow elves, 13 yellow sprites, and 7 dancers. I didn't do well in the battle – I didn't manage to close the archers, and the horns broke through to them, and Light is also cast on them... It's a pity; we could have fought... thanks for the game.

At first, the map generated in such a way that by turn 113, we were already competing for the same resources... then, on turn 111, we again competed for the same resources... the next generation was better, until I broke through the first adjacent zone, emerged from the portal, and found that everything was blocked by stones, and a Temple was placed in such a way that it was impossible to pass by... in short, a dead end right at the exit.
The map was generated again, and I broke through the Witch Hut, which provides logistics... great! But all the heroes were not rush-oriented, and I couldn't figure out how to develop them or who to make the main hero (Deidra (7), Lucretia (4), Naadir (3)). In the Ravenloft castle, they also suggested...
And here, the army was dwindling due to a lack of mana and constant losses. And near the mine, I got stuck; they didn't give me a single resource pile, so I had to build a market and even skip one day. I did sell 3 artifacts for money, and I had a lot of money... but just when I wanted to pick up the pace a bit, I suffered an unpleasant loss of 36 wolves... I could have bought a hero, but I was already not in the mood... I just couldn't figure out how to develop a hero and which one.
It was just bad luck... and that's it. I didn't want to torture myself or my opponent.

First of all, there were 4 human mirror matches (out of a total of 10), which is more than any other race; some didn't even have any. Secondly, perhaps the human factor played a role here – humans often had worse luck with their opponents:D.
By the way, looking at the tables, we can see a pattern: Dwarves lost badly to Mages and Orcs, 0:4 and 0:3 respectively, and also lost 2:4 to Dungeon. At the same time, they won 3:0 against Haven and 3:1 against Inferno...
And indeed, Mages winning 4:0 against Inferno clearly indicated who the leaders are and who the underdogs are, but overall, the balance of power is fairly equal!!!
I won't go on about my subjective conclusions – I just want to congratulate all participants in this tournament, and especially the organizers; everything was practically as good as it could be, and even though this tournament has become more popular than all the Heroes 3 tournaments (at least those currently running), there is still room for growth.
Recently, I talked to "Immortal" in ICQ; we recently opened two topics in our Heroes 3 online section:
The first topic is dedicated to video recordings of online games (sometimes with commentary).
The second topic is about real-time online broadcasts using the "remote desktop" principle.
If the first topic is less relevant to us, since the main idea was to record battles (which can already be done in Heroes 5), then perhaps we should implement the second one.
In short, here's the gist:
There is a program called Mikogo (similar to Hamachi); one player creates a session and receives a 9-digit address. Then he can give this address to anyone who wants it, and one or more people, using the same program and entering the received address, will be able to connect to the broadcast, so that they see on their monitors what is happening on the monitor of the person broadcasting... There are, of course, a couple of nuances, such as the number of viewers being limited to 10 per broadcast, and also the broadcaster marks in the program settings which applications will be broadcast and which will be hidden.
