A: Currently, all versions of Heroes are supported. In addition, you may need to download the heroes4.exe and campaign_editor.exe files from the Downloads section. Equilibris and all the changes made are compatible with these versions. We simply cannot keep track of all possible localizations and releases of Heroes, so we chose these files as the standard. With these files, everything works perfectly on any translation of the game - Russian, English, pirated :).

By the way, if you managed to (or didn't manage to) install it, write about it in the guestbook, indicating the version of the game and the version of the mod. Something like "I installed version 3.1 of the mod on the Romanian Heroes - Winds of War. Everything worked great" or "I installed mod 3.1 on the original Mongolian Heroes - nothing worked."

A: First, stop the installation. Then, just in case, copy heroes4.exe and campaign_editor.exe to a safe place (if you haven't done so already). Most likely, you just need to download the heroes4.exe and campaign_editor.exe files from the Downloads section. Unzip them into the Heroes folder and run the installation again. There should be no message about an incorrect checksum, and the mod should be installed. Whatever happens, remember that your old version of the game remains functional in any case!

There's nothing particularly complicated about it. Download the installer to the game's folder and run it. Then, follow the same steps as you would when installing any other program. You don't really need to install the TE version.

Download the files through the same link I provided above. You definitely need to download the .exe file, and then proceed based on the circumstances.

Thanks, guys, it worked, I installed version 3.41 on the standard Heroes IV! :smile13: Now I just need to learn how to use Hamachi! It's installed, can you please tell me how to play? And are the servers there any good, if they're needed? :rolleyes:

You agree with someone. Both of you enter the same room in Hamachi and create a game using a local connection (TCP/IP).

Tournaments on HW ----> online tournaments ----> let's chat and arrange, go there, either write your name or contact someone.

Wouldn't it be possible to play Heroes IV online like this: you launch the game, choose from a bunch of available servers with the number of players, join any server, and end up in a large world where you start developing and conquering. That would be awesome... Is it really impossible to play Heroes this way?

Sorry, I just don't have much time. I wake up at 5 am and get home between 6 and 8 pm, so I have to go to bed no later than 11:30 pm, and usually around 10:30 pm. If I have some free time tomorrow evening, I might be able to play, and just because they're online in Hamachi doesn't mean they're there often; there aren't many players, even though the status shows they're connected. There is nothing in the dungeon, so don't worry about it. It doesn't play any role in completing the map.
