Posts from Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.Auto-translated
Dear Samurai, as always, you are very persuasive... To avoid any disagreements in the interpretation of words, I replaced "complete and utter noobism" with "complete inexperience and incompetence in online games." Although, I repeat, no one intended to belittle the player; it was said more in jest to lighten the mood. But different people also put different meanings into the word "darn"... It all depends on how one understands it... And knowing "our" rules is the duty not of "some person," but of every player who intends to play or is already playing in our tournaments, so that such incidents occur as rarely as possible. The duties of the AC include monitoring compliance with the tournament rules (see the first post). I would not want to punish a newcomer in the future for another violation of the rules due to ignorance. Of course, if out of more than 150 messages on the HeroesWorld forum, a user has only 4 games, then it's quite possible not to know the rules... Or do you, dear Samurai, find quarrels and arguments on our forum enjoyable?

Mr. Pit for LM, in that case I oblige you to learn the rules of this forum (not to be confused with the rules of the games!), perhaps you will discover many new things for yourself, in particular that on this forum there is no mandatory connection between posts and the number of games posted. ;) Shouldn’t you understand that, when even you yourself have only 3 games out of the last 50 posts, and that’s stretching it?:D
Samurai Phil, why are you interfering in matters that have nothing to do with you?) And in such an impudent way. Pete's decisions are always logical and fair. IMHO.
Maybe it's time to ban you? :D

Petruccio, you have my respect, and keep up the good work! And ignore all these provocations! Be even smarter and don't get involved in this moral filth :)
Added 20 minutes later It would be very good to create a thread where players can express their opinion (brief, accurate, and substantiated!) about another player they played with (if something unfair happened in the game or something else happened in the communication, regarding the game and Heroes in general).
In this way (according to the players who read the thread), a core of normal and decent players will gradually be created, with whom you can calmly and wholeheartedly play and know that there will be no misunderstandings about the game and no unpleasant moral communication during or after the game.
Well, this is just my subjective opinion, but in reality, it may not be so :smile32: But I am definitely sure that the administration should not sort all this out, but as it should - it should make a decision based on the presented and considered facts.
All the best to everyone!
Всё будет хорошо!!! Только неизвестно когда... НО ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО БУДЕТ!!! Но!... Слушай всех, прислушивайся к немногим, решай сам...
Actually, it would be great to create a thread where players could express their opinions (briefly, accurately, and with evidence!) about another player they played with (if something unfair happened in the game or if there were any issues in the communication, regarding the game and Heroes in general).
This topic will inevitably be controversial and lead to arguments; I'm 100% sure of it.
There's no need to compare it to other resources! It will be a unique feature for Volod. And if they decide to create a dedicated theme, they'll appoint a moderator to oversee posts related to that theme.

I reread the very first thread on the forum – /topic/5950/ – so many changes have happened with us in that time… We’ll need to discuss organizational issues a little later.
Half a year has passed since the election of the Arbitration Committee (AK). I won't go into detail about what has been done; everyone already knows. The main thing is that a mechanism for combating unfair play has been created: the AK's course of action has been defined, rules have been developed, we have our own website, and we have received authority from the Creator, and penalties have been determined.
I can't say anything about the other members of the AK; we don't exchange this information, but 2-3 times a month, people contact me to analyze saves. Fortunately, most controversial points can be calmly discussed and resolved. Nevertheless, I keep all the saves.
At the moment, there is one unfinished case regarding unfair play; the materials are almost ready. The opinion of the AK members is quite clear. However, the person accused of unfair play stopped playing after suspicions were expressed against him and hasn't posted any games recently, neither in Tournaments nor in the season. There have been no requests to the AK from him asking to review this case. Therefore, we decided not to deal with it yet. The AK has no objections to this player participating in the season, but his applications for tournaments will lead to an investigation. This case is very unusual, and the AK spent a long time discussing how to behave in this situation. If this player wants and has the opportunity to remove suspicion from himself and defend his good name, he needs to personally contact any member of the AK. We will organize a discussion of this issue on an independent resource. The player will need to answer questions about mysterious facts and strange coincidences, and then the AK plans to conduct a general vote among our forum users, and based on it, a decision will be made. Since this case was initiated by the current composition of the AK, if it ever comes to a resolution, it will be brought to completion by this same composition. I think there is no need to explain who and what this is about. And now we won’t discuss this issue here.
The further directions of work have also become clear: improving the rules, enhancing interaction with the administration, developing a clearer system of penalties, and creating ways to rehabilitate players.
When we elected the AK, two proposals were made regarding deadlines:
Message from Nagan-4 In half a year – re-elections...
Message from Psyche_7 Absurd! Don't imitate politicians. Re-election should only take place if someone can't/doesn't want to/can't cope.
Half a year has passed. The forum must decide how to move forward. Either the players extend the powers of AK-1, or we hold general elections for AK-2, or other options for further work are found. Let's think and discuss.
In my opinion:
1. The AK robot passed the level perfectly!
2. All conflicts were resolved peacefully and fairly!
3. It was done completely and within a timeframe acceptable to everyone!
4. No complaints, guys – well done!
I completely agree that re-elections are pointless. The current team is doing an excellent job fulfilling their responsibilities! Thank you, and keep up the good work! ;)
Пусть мой враг будет силен и страшен. Если я поборю его, то не буду чувствовать стыда.
Maintain the current composition of the Administrative Council (AC) until any of the players raises the issue of confidence in its composition as a whole or in any member individually. For re-elections, this idea must be supported by a sufficient number of other players (I cannot specify the critical value). If any member of the AC wishes to retire on their own – well, nothing can be done about it.
