Oh, come on, Oleg, what's with all the discussions? I said right away that you won.
It's just not a game when almost every one of your moves is barely conveyed. You need to send me your save file, and I'll load it. It's like playing Heroes through correspondence. And also, for every battle you want to attack, I have to be the one to attack. Is that what you call online? And it's not always possible to assess who will win before the battle. For example, you said that your archer, which was your main trump card against ranged units, had 200 attack and would defeat everyone (it was actually 100), which is highly questionable. I just wanted to play an online game, not some kind of artificial setup. But unfortunately, not everyone has a good internet connection.
Regarding the game: no dungeons, no stables, no boots, and no gloves. On brown roads. Gynnar, running across the sand, barely made it to Jenova's treasure. And he had a teleportation scroll, as it turned out, to return. Since interest in SoD has dropped sharply lately (too many super interesting games have been played in TE on MM6), I just walked for 5 days to my opponent (through his territory), where I was met by a horde of orcs. (I knew about it because the opponent disappeared in the sands, meaning he was in the main treasure). And my army was in the first position, and then his army came out in the first position. Thank you for the game
РП (Реальное папство!) *Автосейвы не беру и не даю.
The brown road turned out to be a long loop around the starting town, but I decided to play since there was a Dragon Utopia under the castle and something to do. I revealed three external cyclops dwellings but didn't flag any of them, ran far away with the main army, and it was generally inconvenient. I decided to put it off until the second week, especially since I spotted a Griffin Conservatory not far from them. I picked up a Dungeon secondary hero, built an Eye there, and at home 1-6 in the Citadel with an upgrade for the birds. Among the heroes, there was no clear leader; I thought about leveling either Neela or Jenova, settled on the latter when she got Offense and Defense in addition to existing Archery for the expected "horde" of cyclops  . In the second week, I also took a Tower secondary, a single Griffin Conservatory, 2 cyclops dwellings, and… on day 127 I didn't dare to storm the Throne-adjacent Griffin Conservatory with Jenova having Expert Earth magic. As it turned out, that was a mistake; it was a double dwelling, and the lost tempo of two days while the army went to take the third dwelling ultimately made the game much harder. Gurni and Eva level evenly – level 8 with nice skill trees. On the third week, I took two Griffin Conservatories (2+2) and sent Gurni to scout the treasure zone – there were a couple of hives and I spot a Dragon Utopia + a Book of Air. On day 136, an angry Mage Grindan with pumped magical muscles flys over the GO and heads in a direction I didn't want. On day 137, he apparently lacked a couple of tiles and camps on a Mana Doubler. Day 141 – the chain brings the main forces, and Gurni takes the Dragon Utopia a couple of days later – junk + a Red Orb. It so happened that Gurni ended up in the more useful places, and as a result got better and more leveled. They take my Stronghold and offer me to surrender with the intention of beating any army, and that only a Chupa Chups could save me :p In short, I spent another week running around fattening up while they took all my castles, and in a time crunch I galloped to my starting town, where they attacked me, having first gobbled up my Dragon Utopia :( . Or rather, I attacked due to constant desync issues. 33 cyclops burned like crazy, and Blue had to retreat; I take my town, buy back the remnants, and now I'm on top. We saved, but then agreed to a draw so as not to drag it out and started a new one.
So we swapped colors. I felt that my opponent wanted Valeska again, especially since I'd heard about such a preference in Kyiv). When choosing what to leave me – Dungeon or Rampart – they preferred to fight against Dungeon. But Dungeon is a fairy tale, especially on the surface! Taking a restart together, we started – I get sky above me! Shakti with two stacks, next to a lot of dendroid guards for a Pandora – I take the risk, there are 21 of them :D , in the box 10k gold coins! The money problem is solved! I buy a bunch of heroes and they scatter in different directions. I take a Minotaur dwelling, then a single Griffin Conservatory, a couple of crypts, and by the end of the week, papa is level 8, got Earth and Scouting, at home 1-5 in the Citadel with mines in the portal. Second week – there's a road to a Barbarian secondary down the river, there's a Throne-adjacent Griffin Conservatory, but I decide to run papa around the level-up buildings on an Angel, while the lackeys, having upgraded 16 Minotaurs on day 121, go to break crypts in a chain. After saving up some cash, I buy the rest and run further up to a revealed Naga Bank, then reveal the Watchtower and the native secondary! As much as the Teleport with a nearby Hive tempted me, I decided to rush, of course! Or rather, "blurush" :) Then I simply ran over and took the castle. On the same turn, Red surrendered – throwing away the Naga fight for a Book of Air.
So, there’s nowhere else to go. All games have been played except for the game between scorp and Тяжелый случай. Due to unsolvable technical issues (complete lack of connection), we will have to determine the winner ourselves. It will be determined based on the Summer rating, as it was in the group stage. We couldn’t find another way (we can’t really flip a coin, can we? :)) based on the summer rating:
scorp 1493 points
Тяжелый случай 1458 points, therefore scorp advances.
1/2 final draw.
Aldegir
Piterius
scorp
AliaSmehova
The deadline for the games is 2 weeks, so the results of the semi-final will be on December 14, 2009.
We choose the dark template.
Good luck to everyone.
On 111 two native heroes, one of them Gretchin... as a result 115 goblins 112 - external dwelling of orcs 113 external dwelling of goblins and native secondary hero 114 running to Inferno-secondary hero 115 captured Inferno 116 looking for money for Behemoths but there is none :( 117 passage to the 4th zone guarded by up to 5 Ghost Dragons and the biggest mistake.. seeing in my army - 140 goblins, 3 Rocs, 10 dogs and 18 orcs I decided not to lose tempo and kill them.. but there were 4 of them and they immediately cut the HP of the Rocs and goblins :( and only 35 goblins and 6 orcs crawled out :( but on 121 we are already sitting in the 3rd and 4th zone.. the guard on the main treasure zone - up to 20 of those same wretched dragons :( decided to go for a rush.. maybe we'll catch him off guard.. but on 124 we meet Tazar with 57 gr. Lizardmen.. 4 Wyverns and chaff and decided to make a second mistake :(- I calculated that I would run to the Swamp players before 131 and in mine, after buying chaff from secondary heroes, I would hold out... but it turned out the passage was through the swamp and it took 4 whole days to slog through and I never made it and on 131 the opponent bought all the growth in the main.. I also bought the growth in mine and without reinforcements Tazar didn't take the castle.. And here is the opponent's main mistake - he decided to kill my main hero with his scout hero with the growth but before that, thinning out the troops, he attacked with Solmyr.. boom, Chain Lightning.. I'm in shock... I ask how with the 4th level mage guild.. and then a stupefaction.. it turns out Solmyr forgot that he doesn't know Chain Lightning without building the mage guild... I, perhaps not entirely fairly, decided to propose counting this game as a draw and playing on... The opponent, gritting his teeth, agreed........ Maybe someone else would have acted differently in this situation.. but I acted the way I was treated in such situations at important tournaments (there was also a red rush on the opponent's scout hero in a clan war and a couple of other cases) I consider my decision optimal especially since there should have been at least 2-3 more games in reserve..
111 Air Elementals not built, external dwelling of Earth + Pixies + Air Elementals 112 visible Griffin Conservatory + Crypt for 1500 gold 113 gathering more gold.. Opponent upstairs .. GO up to 99 gr. Pits 114 another Griffin Conservatory visible.. breaking the passage with a scout hero to a secondary hero but there is a small block there that we cannot pass 115 take the Crypt for 2000 and another external dwelling of Air 116 collecting gold for birds 117 the chest gave a manarefill :( 9700 gold and the birds weren't built 121 gather troops from external dwellings and buy Storm Elementals, there are 46 of them :) 122 take +1 Angel 123 take a Necromancy secondary hero 124 take a +4 Shield with a scout hero 125 build birds 126 leveled Earth to Expert and took +1 all armor and +4 attack Chain from behind 15 Necromancy Dragons 127 checked the Griffin Conservatory - 2-4 pieces but it's a loss of tempo to run to it and with the max roll there could be many losses therefore we break through the GO - 95 Pits and chase Shakti on the road to the Harpies .. In turn, the opponent attacks with a bought-back Shakti with 186 Troglodytes + 5 Manticores + 20 Medusas + 16 Evil Eyes.. mass Slow + mass Bless and GG thanks for the game.. 1.5:0.5
To be continued......

The game was called "who plays worse," in which I got luckier, hence the result... Week 1. 2 roads, one leading to the GO, the other to a stronghold through a pack of heinous medusas. Off-road I find a passage to the opponent's secondary swamp. There I secure my position, take a basilisk dwelling, scout 2 tier-2 Conservatories. Good money, I build a dwelling and homes both in the main and secondary towns, Taz gets logistics and I, the fool, decided to catch the opponent off guard, who was waiting for me in the home stronghold's citadel on 117, in the end I was short 4 dwellings, though I could have bought back immediately, moron, I buy out Taz in the secondary, run to the medusa dwelling, which I take on 121, with 8 medusas, on 122 I enter the Conservatory. Gurn is already on the swamp respawn with a horde of heinous dogs, a bunch of Thunderbirds, and assorted goblins and orcs... On 123 I take it with 22 gr. basilisks and various weaklings, run to the 2nd one. Gurn takes the swamp. I take the 2nd Conservatory, prepare to somehow chain-transfer back to my native swamp and run through the Dwelling tree along the road to the Stronghold secondary to one of the 2 treasure sites. In one of them, with the help of a lookout tower, I saw the 5th cap, but who knows how long it takes to get there... In the end, Scorp gave me the opportunity to transfer home, not chasing me off when I was within reach on 4 angels, the swamp mana went further into the respawn and couldn't be reached. I barely transferred on 126, crashed home. On 127, already on the strong respawn with 4 angels. The goblin takes a 20-stack of gnomes with 11 dwellers and 16 basilisks. On 131, I'm in the desert treasure site with angels and advanced petfight!.. On 132, I take a Pandora's Box for 15K XP, got Offense to Expert, take the angel dwelling and armor +4 to spell for 80 mages and break through the Dwelling tree guard of 60 birds, revealing a Dragon Utopia. On 133, I take the morning star +4 and the tree, on the last cell I jumped into the Dragon Utopia, tier 1... Army: 5 angels, 19 dwellers, 1+1+1+1+1 gr. basilisk. Stats 9-12 and Expert Offense-Armor. I leave the basilisks and 4 dwellers there. They don't give any decent artifacts at all, but I buy out all the homes, since through the other swamp secondary, Gurn already ran under my home. I spotted a Pandora's Box in the corner of the desert for a Load of Magicians and a shield +4 to all for 1-4 Faerie Dragons, and on the respawn right next to it, a Dwelling tree. Wisdom is skilled up to Expert. A chain is set up to the Knowledge Hat +5, which I just couldn't pick up along the way to the stronghold. The goblin spots stables above the castle. On 134, I crash with the main hero, take everything, buy a spell book in Strong, run through the stables upward bypassing the mountains to the tree, hoping for a mana well or even a Mana Waterfall there. On 135, I take the tree, there was nowhere to replenish mana. On 136, almost without losses, the Magicians fall, and there's all of 5th-level magic!!! I hit the Faeries, they kill all the angels, but I have Implosion at 1050 in the book, and there will be mana if I replenish 130. The main hero stays on flies, the remnants of the weak army run to take the gold mine, past which I had been running since 133)) Gurn opens the lookout tower and, unafraid to leave me the castle, runs into the darkness; the goblin had scouted the bird dwelling there. On 137, I run into Strong and, being blue, replenish 130 mana. Well, then I demonstrated an Implosion to Gurnisson the next turn; he ran off to do business on the respawn, buying back with dogs, trading 20 Thunderbirds for 7 dwellers, since the dogs struck the dwellers with Luck... I broke through the GO through the home, thought I'd manage to kill the goblin's army in Strong on 143, but was 1 cell short. In the end, I jumped with the help of the Waterfall near Gurn's main stronghold into his underground treasure site; he ran to the secondary swamp, where there were a couple of Conservatory-trees, but decided not to suffer and surrendered on 145... Thanks for an interesting Battle!!
It seems Oleg still has to play at least one more game, maybe even two... Another question: what's the point of a final if the tournament is only a qualifier and the goal is to determine who moves on? Two winners are better than one.

That's right. And the final will decide which of them is stronger, just like in any competition!!!
On turn 111, with Jabarkas (10 Orcs and 47 Goblin Wolves), I defeated 17 Gold Golems on the secondary town, leaving 7 and 27. 112, secondary town, because the main town is almost cleared, I'm fighting for gold on the secondary town (total of 4 heroes), I can see 2 more of my (on the way) secondary towns and both swamp towns. 113, I spotted boots for 20-49 Cerberuses, and Gurnisson headed to take back the outpost. 114, outpost: doesn't give anything useful, Hive and Shield, but for 10-19 Devils, Gurnisson heads towards the boots, and a chain is formed under it because the remaining army can't break through the guard. 115, Gurnisson has 4 Griffins and is at the boots in front of the portal to the Treasury (most likely, that's what happened), the opponent has 2 castles. 116, I bring 2 more Griffins and break through the portal, and there will be a block of Champions ((, retreat, remaining: swamp Treasury with a strong guard for the Hive and nothing else interesting, and 2 secondary towns, one of which the opponent has already captured (because it's unlikely that 4 swamp castles would have been generated). 116, Tazar breaks through the guard of the secondary town and is left with 1 Fly (a gift). 117, only Gurnisson (boots + stable) can reach Tazar, but unfortunately, he couldn't break through to reach Tazar later - only 1 spell and no Grand Hero (Unfortunately). Then I send the army home and set up a Citadel for defense. 117, exchange: 1 Griffin for 4 Vivs. 122, scouts take back the chests, and Gurnisson takes the axe for 20-49 Griffins. 123, scouts spotted a Consul and Shield from which the Grand Hero left a few turns ago, so I head to the swamp to the opponent's secondary town. 124, I take the secondary town, but there's no money to buy a scout ((, remaining: 2 wood and 4 stone). 125, the scout sees another dead Consul scout and Tazar with 1-4 Angels and a pack of Basilisk, I can't reach Tazar, I only kill the scout. 125, Tazar transfers the Basilisks and is left with 1+1 Fly and 1-4 Angels, many people have asked why I didn't attack Tazar on my turn? - I thought that both Consuls were mini and there were only 2 Angels!!!, and in the tavern, the opponent always had more money, so I figured there was a 100% chance of having 3000$ for a bribe, but it's harder to get these Angels through the swamp than to just buy them out on my turn at home, and speed was Tazar's main advantage (this is the main reason), (but it turned out that I was wrong and there were not 2, but 4 Angels, and there were only 2000$ for a bribe). 127, I break through to the secondary town towards the Nagabank and the path through the swamp to the opponent. 131, I eat the Nagabank and for some reason return from the swamp to speed up ((. 132, I break through to the opponent's town, but without a pass fight, even with boots, it's very slow. 133, I'm already near the road. 134, I take the capital, scout in the direction of the last castle: there are 2 heroes and all on Goblin Wolves, and I don't stay in the castle, but head further, I think Tazar won't reach me, and with the scouts, if I give them the whole army, 1+1+79 Wolves and 20 Griffins will be enough (Gurnisson 12 13 3 2). 135, I take the last castle, scouts see Tazar and a scout, but I can't reach Tazar with the main hero, another scout and I kill his scout, I see an outpost and a Hive - but that had to be generated like that)). 136, I take back the outpost, and the Hive is behind the rocks ((, and Tazar is already in it, from this outpost I also saw a nest of Griffins and headed towards it, because I can't catch Tazar anymore. 137, I see that there are no Angels in the army, only a pack of Vivs left, and now I'm vulnerable, I'm left with 1 Griffin (if I attack the red on day 7, then he won't be in the tavern on the first day, the hero disappears/dies), but for some reason Alex didn't attack with any scout. 141, I take the army and go towards the GO to maybe level up Earth, I'm attacked, and it turns out that the only thing that saved me in that game was Tazar, and it was in the Pandora, the entire 5th level!!!, a game that I gave away twice. Both of us cheated in this game.
Thanks for the game!!!
P.S.: On my turn, I should have fired the scout, it's already the last minute, and there's also a trade to be done, I don't choose carefully, I grab the last scout, and on his last turns, wherever the horse was aimed, that's what he ate - and as a result, a VIOLATION of the rules, he visited the mill with a disabled guard (Wolves on the Barbarian, in such a hurry, he didn't even notice), but 4 resources were no longer decisive at that moment (135/136), and the game was lost, and I didn't even say anything. - Maybe this issue should be clarified in the rules (about the shifted guard of objects)?
(if you attack the red player on day 7, they won't be in the tavern on day 1, the hero disappears/dies), but why didn't Alex attack my hero with any scout?
I took a secondary town - Conflux, but when breaking through 2 blocks (teleport) I lost many goblins.. 15 remained + 5 orcs.. but the ballista was ruling, so - Bears in the castle! And there were 3 crypts + 2 Dwarf Cottages + Imp Cottage + Naga Bank + 2 Hives + Griffin Conservatory left untaken.. so I would have had an upgrade for Bears to the second.. But news came from Tazar that he, on a roll, captured my native secondary town and, running to the other side, captured the other native secondary town :) ran past the guard of the passage :( and captured it without breaking through the guard.. He offered me a draw in that game... I agreed and in response offered to play up to 3 wins.. he agreed, but as soon as we started the game.. my beloved came and, with a gentle but loud voice, stopped the game :) pointing out my game time at 18-00... We agreed on 18-00, but when I showed up at the appointed time, Peter was not online, and his message was hanging.. in short, the message said that he decided not to continue the game but to give me the victory... It's a pity.. I wanted to play more.. an interesting and strong opponent, and only the lack of familiarity with HeroesWorld rules prevented me from playing at full strength... Final score 2-1 .. 1 victory rightfully belongs to Peter.. The series of games could have dragged on :).. Many thanks for the games and good luck in other Tournaments!

I confirm. Just like in Favorites, I was let down by inattention to the rules. The habit from TE really shows, where everything not allowed is optionally prohibited, and you don't need to keep all the bans and restrictions in your head, but fully concentrate on the game. I probably need to play more games under HeroesWorld rules, then it might become easier. As for the games - even if I had won, based on the situation Oleg deserves to advance to the Best more. He defeated strong opponents on his way, he's not a newcomer like me on HeroesWorld, and plays strongly enough to contend for victory in it. I unexpectedly had a RP on Bay, and due to an acute shortage of time, I prefer that tournament instead.
Peterius, will you be competing for 3rd place and a spot in the Best of the Best final? The finalists are already known: Aldegyr and Alex. You have until New Year's Eve. We would appreciate it if you could play, although it's not crucial who takes which spot in the Best of the Best. Small final: Scorp vs. Peterius. We are waiting for Peterius's response; otherwise, Scorp will advance to the Best of the Best from 3rd place. Choose your colors for the final. Good luck!
