Thank you! I understand that there is no direct answer to my question, and there cannot be! But I think I finally understand it for myself! Thanks again!!! So, there is a system after all, and I will keep looking for it!!!
I have a question: is there a way to influence the triggering of passive skills in creatures during online play? If so, how can this be reliably tracked? Yesterday, I experienced a somewhat unusual situation: the opponent's Necrodrake "aged" my units 4 times in a row (out of 4 attempts):smile29:. It seems that the probability of this skill triggering is 20%, but in this case, it was 100%.
RiftI have a question - is there any way in multiplayer to influence the triggering of passive skills for creatures? If so, how can this be tracked for sure? I had a rather unusual case yesterday - the opponent's necrodragon "aged" my squads 4 times (out of 4) in a row :smile29: it seems he has a 20% trigger chance, but here it was 100%...There is no such way. His Majesty Random. A few abilities in a row can absolutely decide the outcome of a battle, just like with morale or resist triggers. This is SoD

No, the probability remains at 20%. Try experimenting with a coin. How many times out of 1000 will it land on heads? 500 – according to the theory of probability. Even if the first 50 times it lands on tails.
Военное дело просто и вполне доступно здравому уму человека. Но воевать сложно.
Yes, there is also the concept of "probability of probability." In this case, the probability that an ability will trigger 4 times in a row is 20% x 20% x 20% x 20% = 0.2 ^ 4 = 0.16%, or 1 out of 625. Not such a small probability after all.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth...
Hello everyone. I have a few questions about game tactics. The thing is, I've been playing Heroes for a long time, but I'm not very good at it – I don't understand strategies, combat tactics, magic, and other important things. I usually play by trial and error, without any specific game plan. I play for a long time, develop slowly, so I can only somehow win on XL maps; on the others, I don't have time to develop, and the enemy usually defeats me in the first month. For example, I've just built a level 6 monster dwelling, and the enemy is already attacking me with a huge army, including a lot of upgraded level 7 units. So, I would like to know how to act correctly so that I can capture all the nearby mines without losses in the first week. And I would also like to know how to distribute troops effectively between several heroes. Usually, I only have two heroes – one is a combat hero, and the other collects various free items scattered around the map, but I don't know how to properly divide the army between them. Naturally, this always has sad consequences – I go far from the city, and then the enemy appears, and I can't provide adequate defense.
Hello to you too.The thing is, I've been playing Heroes for a long time, but pretty poorly — I don't understand strategies, combat tactics, magic, and other important things at all. I usually play by trial and error, however it happens — I have no specific game plan.As I understand it, you are playing against computers... Here, most people play online with each other, and the game plan is surprisingly simple: level up your hero (heroes) faster, gather an army, and go kill the opponent. :) Read this section; there's a lot of interesting stuff here, as I can't tell you how to win in just a few words... Read the Reports for example, see how others playI play for a long time, develop slowly, so I can somehow win only on XL maps; on all others, I don't have time to develop and the enemy usually wipes me out in the very first month. And you should develop faster :) Here is a plan: 1st week — take crypts/dwarf homes, build the infamous 6th level in the citadel (not the municipality) 2nd week — take medusas/naga banks/Hive/conservatories, increase your stats 3rd week — take Dragon Utopia, increase your stats even more. Strive to keep up, what else can I say... And you can even wipe out the opponent in the first week if you try..For example, I've only just built a 6th level monster dwelling, and the enemy is already charging at me with a huge army that has plenty of upgraded 7ths.For example, the opponent builds the 6th level, while I'll set up 1-3 in the fort with an external dwelling of minotaurs and mushrooms and be happy. And on the second week, I'll gather angels and vivs, and my army will be no smaller than the opp's :) Your goal is not to amass an army, but to kill the opponent by any meansSo, I would like to know how to act correctly so that at least in the first week I can capture all nearby mines without losses?Mines are not a guarantee of success, and you can get by normally without themAnd also I'd like to know how to properly distribute troops between several heroes? Usually I have only 2 heroes — one combat, the other collects various free trinkets scattered across the map, but I don't know how to correctly distribute the army between both. Naturally, this always has sad consequences — I go far from the city, an enemy appears right there, and I cannot provide a decent defense. To start with, master the concept of a "chain". The simplest chain connects the main hero with their home Castle. That is, you will need several heroes positioned within one move of each other. Then the army can return to the castle on any given day. For example, you see that an enemy is close to the castle. You give the army to the nearest hero, who passes it further, and so on until the castle itself. And the main hero, now without an army, attacks some neutrals and runs away from them. They are bought out in the castle and meet the army :) I hope I'm writing clearly. Once you learn how to use a chain — it can perform other tasks, like clearing a respawn, scouting territory, etc.
But overall — play online, read Articles, look at saves, and you'll understand everything over time
Hello to you too. And you should develop faster :) Here's a scheme: 1st week - take Necropolises/Dwarven Mines, build the infamous 6th level in the city (and not the Town Hall) 2nd week - take Jellyfish/Naga Banks/Beehives/Conservatories, and improve your stats 3rd week - take Utopias, and improve your stats even more.
I usually don't encounter these things often, even on random maps, and I doubt I'll be able to capture them in the first few weeks. And I won't even mention Utopias; it usually takes me months to get them. Kash
Mines are not a guarantee of success, and you can manage without them.
So, where should I get resources then? You can't really get rich from the scattered resources on the map, and I think it's very important to take as many mines as possible as quickly as possible, so that you don't have resource problems later. Kash
For starters, learn about the concept of a "chain."
I've thought about such a scheme before, but I don't think it's reliable - what if the enemy attacks the chain? What then?
In general, I would like to hear advice specifically on development in the first week - which buildings are best to buy first, who to attack, what to capture, etc. I understand that the most important part of the game is what you do in the first week, as this will largely determine the outcome of the game.

You're thinking correctly, but not quite. There isn't a single most important part of the game. If you're incredibly strong in the first week but mess up in the second and third weeks, you'll always be a loser. You need to be focused all the time.
