Posts from Advantages and disadvantages of Elven heroes. Discussion of their biographies and abilities.
Overall, we can conclude that the Sylvan faction is more suited for duels than for battles on maps.
What is this nonsense? Perhaps this race is only good for duels in your hands.
Why immediately nonsense? The specialization of the Sylvan faction and all its troops and hero dwellings give me every right to say this... Look at the specializations of all the races - in my opinion, it's the worst for fighting neutrals:(
(the beginning is generally terrible:eek: and a skilled rusher can even defeat an elf on a medium map:smile34:) But despite all this, I wrote that the race is not bad - it's the best for the final stages...
p.s. And in general, you shouldn't scold me, I don't know how to play this race, I wrote about it above... :=
It seems to be forgotten, or perhaps I missed it somewhere, that Wing's ability is not only strong but also a very important starting skill – Attack, which the other heroes of the Union lack.
They forgot to mention a hero who is worth considering, especially in the ultimate/late game (although these stages of the game are not that popular) – this is Anwen.
Wing's "Attack" skill is valuable because it comes with the "Tactics" ability.
Anwen was not forgotten, see the message above :)

We work quietly, but we move fast :) At the beginning of the game, the main striking force (for clearing neutral creatures with minimal losses) is archers and druids; if the city is level 1 and the main hero is not Ossir... then, apart from the lumber mill and ore (you can wait with it), you won't be able to conquer anything, because there is nothing to fight with :)
Ossir is a good guy, but considering that elven archers die among the first... sometimes they don't even have time to fire a single shot...
Miniatures are better than Wingael's bonus for one simple reason – they work throughout the battle :), but they won't save the mage from this hero – the initiative of the elven army is initially higher :)
The racial ability "Avenger" is indeed not very useful against neutral creatures :), but it can be very helpful in a battle against a player.
In my opinion, it is better not to take machines for the elves – the ballista is a rather fragile thing. Besides everything else, the enchanted arrows from this unit push the hero back on the ATB scale, so he will move very rarely. It is better not to overcomplicate things and just fire with enchanted rain :)
In my opinion, for Rangers it's the !!!worst for fighting neutrals

SEs' war machines... this question always comes up and has been discussed many times, just like everything we're discussing now has been done before))
P.S.: Snezhok, decided to shake off the old ways?) HeroesWorld again, HoMM again!!11
Moderated: OFF-TOPIC in the message
Kind of, but Attack is also needed because of the somewhat decent damage that Sylvan units don't have; if the "Attack" stat were boosted instead of Knowledge, it would be great).

I'm not saying that Sylvan doesn't need the "Offense" skill; that 15% would be very welcome, plus Ballista, plus another 20% to shooting. Lately I often take Leadership and aim for "Retribution"; if they also give "Aura of Speed", then magic races will be in a really bad spot :).
P.S. Shaking it off slowly :) HeroesWorld again, a bit of HoMM 5 again :)

The secrets of Elven Kung-fu are revealed only to the persistent student :).
The mastery of clearing neutrals with the 1st fairy is known only to the chosen :).
But seriously—you're just used to playing as the Academy, and their tactics are very different from the Elven ones. More practice and it'll all come together :)
4. Attack is very important: +20% damage to ranged units.
1. Defense (from the start).
2. Luck + Elven.
3. Education should be prioritized due to the very important perk +10% chance to inflict critical bleeding damage on the enemy (and we already have 50% + 1% per level).
4. Attack is very important: Tactics + 20% damage to ranged units.
5. Light could be an option, although Leadership with Retribution looks good too! IMHO!:smile20::smile12:
Conclusion:
Education is a must for Anven + stats and ability enhancement....In addition to all this, artifacts: Amulet of Mastery if found, or the Lion set (though not necessarily the whole set)....Basically, that's how he levels up, no one will need to tear their hair out!:) The only difficulties are at the start!
I agree with everything except point 3. On the one hand, 10% critical hit is a great thing. On the other hand, a well-developed Anven is already doing well. I would take Leadership instead of point 3, and Light Magic as point 5, as you said ;) But again... On large maps, logistics play a huge role, and it's questionable to take Anven for a medium-sized map.
