Posts from Amendment to section 5.2.1 of the Hv rules (regarding quick-cast spells).
I am willing to acknowledge this right for all of humanity; the percentage for unbanning will then be quite insignificant.
Attempts to restrict the right of forum visitors to participate in the voting were made not so long ago; if necessary, I can provide a link.
Oh my god, are you ready to predict the opinion of all humanity with such accuracy and confidence? Mega respect :D :D :D Now, seriously. Sir, please open your eyes and notice that there are actually no newcomers to Heroes 3 among those who voted ;)
We could suggest 5 more options, and then we would definitely never reach a decision. The fact that many people voted for option 1 doesn't necessarily mean they are completely against option 2. In my topic, the question is posed clearly, unambiguously, and with arguments.
Ideally, new rules should first be tested in a specific region and then implemented throughout the country. Therefore, I suggested holding one tournament using the new rules to see the effect in practice.

I suggest you reread the last few posts carefully. You are currently disputing an opinion that I did not express. For example, I am not trying to predict how humanity will vote; I am simply stating that if the number of people who have already voted "yes" is divided by 6 billion, the percentage will be lower than if it is divided by 39.
A well-thought-out approach involves testing new rules first in a specific region before implementing them nationwide. Therefore, I suggested conducting one tournament with the new rules to practically assess the effect.
The rule has already been tested; take, for example, the experience of wcl. They don't have a similar ban, and yet, look at which heroes experienced players use and win with.
Why, I wonder, are they mixing two completely different ideas? To introduce, so to speak, mages into the game and allow players to use 4th-level magic without restrictions. The second doesn't follow from the first at all. Mages won't gain much weight in the game. Instead, there will be an excellent chance to take advantage of the situation. Free a 10-20 level mage from prison (I, for example, found 10-level mages even on the first map), give him a few fast units, and cause chaos in the enemy's surroundings. With the same success, you could allow diplomacy, but with a ban on starting with diplomatic heroes. This also creates a chance to find such a hero in the tavern and go for it. Moreover, the chance for both opponents is the SAME. And the rules will become even simpler.
To strengthen the role of mages in the game, I think it's necessary to change the template, not to reinvent the wheel.
A level 10 hero from the dungeon is a significant boost to the game, regardless of whether they are a mage or a fighter. What does it mean to "take advantage of a freebie"? The generator provides this "freebie" without considering the restriction on mages.
By the way, has anyone checked how well level 1 mages perform when taking over dungeons with a starting army?
There's a difference between finding a warrior, level 10, with First Aid, for example, and finding Solmyr. And freebies are now limited by the rules. What does the generator have to do with it?
Well, I don't know. In a recent game with Cash, I freed Clavius, a level 10 mage, from prison on the very first day. And I didn't complain even once about his not-so-great build :D
I suggest a poll (though I don't know how to technically create it) Which of the mages is capable of performing the same tasks as the "fire mage" 1 - Gundula in first place 2... 3...
Well, I found and defeated him! For example, Solmyr, level 10, with stats 1, 1, 7, 8, and since such heroes are well-protected and located in strongholds, it takes at least two weeks to break through. So what? The templates have already been invented, and no one changes them; they create new ones, so just take them and play. But riding a bicycle backward is an ill-conceived restriction, and the result is that fighters dominate, which is what we have now.
