Posts from Solmyr, Demeer, and Aislin are cheaters (and/or) kamikazes; do the rest have a right to exist?
Hello, players of Heroes of Might and Magic® III online! (Fellow warriors :) )
I want to raise a topic that has been discussed before, but I believe it failed due to some important, overlooked nuances.
I'm talking about unbanning level 4 magic specialists.
The main overlooked nuance is that they suggested using heroes with powerful offensive magic!!! (Solmyr, Demeer, Aislin).
The rest are quite harmless.
I support the first point; I am absolutely sure that the other heroes will not create an imbalance in the game but will only make it more diverse and interesting.
What are your opinions?
* Only votes from players who REALLY play online and have at least one game and a report from it will be counted.
** There may be a feeling that I am criticizing the creators of the rules, but that is not the case. Thank you very much to them, but life goes on, and I believe it is necessary to use the accumulated experience.

This issue has been discussed many times – it’s unclear how the game’s difficulty progresses so quickly.
We play on the 2cm template… they often appear on the 2nd week… and imagine, you have only a few troops, and you run into a suicide attacker… and then, a powerful enemy.

So, besides these three, who else is at level 4? Those who resurrect and Loins with prayer, or something like that?:D Seriously, it's terrible – you can't unban such players, it will create an imbalance:rolleyes:..

1. Regarding resurrectors like Jeddite. For him, you need to upgrade the Earth skill so that the troops remain after the battle.
2. All of this requires a lot of mana...

We can also recall heroes with the Executioner magic specialty. But in our case, heroes with actual abilities are more effective. And waiting 3 or 4 weeks to fully utilize magic means the game is already over...
I have the same question. What’s the point of all this fuss? World of Xeen mages are already in a very advantageous position. Please explain what this change will actually achieve. Not with some vague statement about how it will diversify the game. Give a specific example. Or a development strategy for a mage, for a specific faction, that will be competitive with a warrior build. So far, it just seems like another unnecessary complication of the rules.
In my opinion, a person who changes the rules should clearly understand why they are doing so (not just with a general statement). For example, I don't understand why. Otherwise, I will immediately vote against it.
I'm in favor of unbanning all four level 4 units. In my opinion, this isn't a complication, but rather a simplification of the rules – it removes an unnecessary restriction. Naturally, to use their own units, they need to build up to level 4, so I don't see anything overpowered about it; in any case, it's worth testing this in practice. But the infamous Shakti and Galtran, as starting units, should have been banned a long time ago. Seriously. But probably it will turn out as always – we'll talk, vote, and then forget about it.
Пусть мой враг будет силен и страшен. Если я поборю его, то не буду чувствовать стыда.
This would increase the importance of "knowledgeable" companions (like Octavia, Nellki, etc.) to transfer the necessary spell from the starting mage to the warrior found in the tavern on day 1 – as an option, although it's quite cumbersome and heavily depends on random chance (whether they'll appear or not)... As an alternative, you could try leveling up both the mage and the warrior as your main characters to make the game more challenging.

And those infamous Shaktis should have been banned a long time ago. Seriously.
   Keep your hands off the miners!!! I haven't even had a chance to play with them properly, and you want to ban them:smile35::smile45:! Didn't you read what Javdet wrote, that with 50 experimental ramp/dungeon generations (with a miner, of course), there was a clear imbalance in favor of the ramp (on the CM). So why ban it? And Lorelei might come along and have 1 stack, damn it, and strong ranged units on level 111, etc., you're exaggerating, seriously!..
