New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
That's strange, it shouldn't be like that.
I would still level up the same skills. It's a great hero. I would go with Orcs.
Describe your opponent's tactics. This will help me suggest better tactics for Orcs.
Does he fight to the last? (+ resurrection rune)
Does he play defensively?
What kind of magic does he prefer?
He doesn't fight to the last, but he uses the resurrection rune.
He plays defensively because I always rush him. (Delay means death for Orcs, or...?)
Magic is always different (you can't guess whether it will be light or dark).
And another question! Should I always take "Wrath of Fire" if it's offered, or...?
Forget this Krag, he's not very useful! Let me explain why: only at level 31 can the hero kill 1.5 creatures of level 7, plus Krag's ability, so at level 31, 3 creatures of level 7 die! If you upgrade Devil's Strike, there's only a 30% chance that the damage will be doubled, and a 70% chance that it won't! And what do we get when we reach level 31, which isn't that easy and takes more than a month to achieve? We get a 30% chance of killing 6 creatures of level 7!!! It's much wiser to use the same War Cry to scare the units, or increase the attack by +15 for all troops already at level 30, and add even more Fury, that's really something!!! And you should always choose a hero based on the unit, this is a very significant bonus in the endgame!!! So, choose Tilshek, because War Golems are usually not targeted, they are slow and left for last, and in 3 turns they will have so much Fury, plus the unit has the Fury skill, which gives them such a high attack, and the runes will be gone by that time!! He simply won't be able to kill them with just War Golems!!!!
TerMinator And have you tried playing with this tactic against dwarves, or is it just a guess? If you have, what skills did you teach Tilshek?
Terminator,
You're not taking into account that Krag doesn't just hit much harder, but also stuns, + don't forget about reinforcements.
The battle always starts with Krag's first attack, which means he can immediately stun the most dangerous, high-initiative enemy. Then he has another turn in the first round, which he spends on reinforcements, for example, on executioners. In the following rounds, Krag will attack quite often, and this will not be ineffective. You don't need to dismiss him so categorically, I'm not the only one who thinks Krag is worthy.
However, I would probably try playing as Garuna myself.
In any case, against dwarves, you need to finish off the remaining troops, and at the same time, all orcs get an attack bonus. And the dwarf will think a thousand times whether it is worth resurrecting the dead for the resurrection rune, because if he kills this unit again, the attack will increase even more.
In the end, when there are about three units left on each side, the attack bonus for all three orc units will be about +16 (in total, that's 16*3=42), and the war mages will get +12 to defense and attack at level 24 (in total - 24).
