Will you take a newbie? I'm diligently trying to make up for the shortage of seasonal games. At least I can play a dungeon on SoD.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

Similar question: "What if, during a Dungeon vs. Dungeon game, someone gets Shakti?"
Answer: Of course, you play. Randomness is randomness. There are restarts for such cases.
And, of course, no one prevents you from discussing this with your opponent before the game and deciding by mutual agreement.
Still, the situation is slightly different; Shakti is not prohibited as a starting hero, unlike Gosha.

in the Stronghold, only Gurney's ballista shoots, mainly in the first week...

That's not true :) The Stronghold is the least dependent on the starting hero, and there are plenty of heroes for it:
Kreg, Gundula, Dessa, Greckin, Tirax, Jabarkas...
It's more challenging in the Dungeon, but that's what makes it interesting. I remember in one game against Vik, I was playing with a random hero and dominating with harpies and Laura. I think games with the same castle and a random hero will be the most interesting.
Well, Shakti with 3 stacks and Gosh definitely need to be banned.
Craig will still be better!.. He's just a beast!.. But if they don't give him two Dweller dogs, it will be difficult for Tyraxor... And Gundula won't be as strong without land... And the Demon will only start to matter in the middle of the second week! Gurnisson can only do something in the first week, and after that, he's useless! :smile52:
But Gundula can learn water magic, while Kragg can only do so in a witch's hut, but that's very unlikely.
No, but that's an advantage Gundula has over Crag. IMHO.
If you consider SUCH advantages, then Craig has many more of them.
His attack mostly increases as he levels up.
