That's not true:) if anything, the Stronghold is the least dependent on the starting hero, and there are plenty of these heroes:
Kreg, Gundula, Dessa, Grechkin, Tirax, Jabarkas...
It's more difficult in the Dungeon, but that's what makes it interesting. I remember in one game against Vik on a full random map, I dominated with harpies and Laura. I think games with the same faction and a random hero will be the most interesting.
Well, Shakti with 3 stacks and Gosh should definitely be banned.
