Watched "Harvest," "13th District: Ultimatum," and "Angels & Demons." Hey, where are all the good movies?
Angels & Demons wasn't bad. I haven't seen Harvest. Cobra also:smile48: Konstantin watched it - it's a decent film, on the same theme as Angels & Demons. Also watched "The Prestige" - I recommend it.
I lasted 22 minutes watching "Inhabited Island 2"!
I watched it 3 times - it's quite good, it's a shame that instead of a bomber, there's a dirigible, and the film is generally shorter than the first one.

Description: The film tells the story of a 16-year-old girl named Kaoru Amane. She is an amateur musician, plays the guitar, and writes songs. She lives with her parents. And everything would be fine if not for one "but"... The "but" is that she suffers from an incurable and very rare disease. It is called "xeroderma pigmentosum," or simply XP. The essence is that the skin of a person with this disease cannot resist ultraviolet radiation. Simply put, for such people, exposure to direct sunlight means a quick and agonizing death. Therefore, Kaoru spends the whole day at home, and at night she goes to the railway station and there, completely alone, plays and sings her songs. And every time she has to return home before sunrise. And every morning from the window of her room, she sees a young man, an amateur surfer, who arrives early in the morning at the stop in front of Kaoru's house and waits there for his friends. Kaoru doesn't yet know who he is, but she already feels a sincere sympathy for him...
Since the genre is romance and drama, I kept trying to find something to criticize in the film, but alas, the film simply captivated me... I am, by nature, an unemotional person – it is virtually impossible to move me (I don't cry at relatives' funerals), but here, strangely enough, I managed to get emotional three times... Watch only with subtitles, although there is no other way, otherwise you might not appreciate the beauty of Yui's voice. P.S. After this film, I felt down for about a week + I started looking at her songs differently. P.P.S. Maybe tomorrow or the day after, I'll create a thread about the film...
All good movies are about the sick or mentally ill. I'll keep that in mind.
Here are a few that I recommend watching:
1) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest;
2) Barefoot in the Park;
3) Knockin' on Heaven's Door.

Watched the movie "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" with my brother.
I understand it's fiction, but seriously, you could pause the movie every minute and explain why something couldn't possibly happen (even with a generous dose of fantasy).
By the end, I was completely done with how they caught up to ballistic missiles in a plane...

I understand it's fiction, but seriously, you could pause the movie every minute and explain why something couldn't possibly happen (even with a large dose of fantasy). In the end, I was completely done in by how they caught up to ballistic missiles in a plane...
You should only expect one big special effect from "G.I. Joe," nothing more! If you expect more, you'll be disappointed ;) And in general, these kinds of movies are best watched while slightly tipsy :smile08:
Crap (s). Plot (briefly): Ahmed Ahmedovich goes to distant galaxies, where he meets bearded, unwashed Vikings. The "churka" (a derogatory term) tells the Vikings that 12 bearded Vikings and 1 "khachik" (a derogatory term for a person from the Caucasus) should go on the journey. The thirteenth is the main character. After some time, listening to the Vikings, he SUDDENLY begins to understand their language, and says to one of the gnomes... Vikings, "don't you dare insult my mother" (or something like that). Well, and then a depressing plot unfolds.

By chance, I watched it three times in a row. 1. Night, Rentv. 2. Noon, cinema. 3. Evening, Rentv. But in general, the film is terrible.
By the way, I watched "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". I don't know why, but it didn't impress me much.
It depends on age/mood/state of mind/life experience, etc. I used to really like "Highway 60", for example. I rewatched it recently. It's a decent movie, nothing more. As BG said, "you paint yourself, I'm not here".
