5th round bRitvo4kA (red, Stronghold, Gunnarsson, Gunnarsson) def Wlk777 (blue, Castle, Valeska, Mephala), 2smd4(3), 144 Week 1: 12345 in the Citadel, external dwelling of ogres, broke through to the secondary swamp and took the external dwelling of Wyverns Week 2: secondary swamp where I built 12356 in the Citadel, external dwellings of basilisks, gorgons, a Pandora's Box with 10k, 2 crypts, 1 Dwarf Cottage Week 3: castles in the capital and secondary town, 2 Griffin Conservatories(3), Hive, 3 crypts, Book of Earth, external dwelling of fire dragons, secondary Dungeon Week 4: I recapture the opponent's capital with a Capitol and the Necropolis secondary town, after a few moves comes the capitulation (with approximately equal parameters, a big advantage in meat.) Thank you for the game!
bRitvo4kA (red, Stronghold, Gunnarsson, Gunnarsson) def Wlk777 (blue, Castle, Valeska, Mephala), 2smd4(2), 144 5turn Thanks for the game!
Yeah, foolishly didn't take Resurrection, even though I had only 21 Marks, most of which were lost clearing a path to a secondary (Necro).. In short, there were no decent spells, I had hopes for the treasure zone which I was preparing for, was ready to take serious objects, but the treasure zone turned out to be nothing, a couple of Dragon Fly Hives and Pandora's Boxes like 25 dogs.. There was nothing to even field for the final fight :( Thanks for the game.
3rd round bRitvo4kA (red, Stronghold, Gunnarsson, Gunnarsson) def Dubrovin Pavel (blue, Castle, Valeska, Kyrre), Balance, 123 Spent all the respawns. Wolves not built, fast roads. On the first week, Gunnar got a log hut :), native secondary skill, stable. At the end of the week, 1235 in the castle, external dwelling of ogres, secondary Dungeon, shield+3, portal of summoning, problem with wood. After bloody battles, I lose orcs, goblins, and wolves, leaving 3 rocs and 8 ogres alive. On the second week, Gunnar runs to the stable, then takes the gnome dwelling (20), and then Kyrre jumps out from the teleport, attacks the scout hero, takes the Dungeon. Dessa takes the external dwelling of ogres, I gather everyone and attack. The archers under Bless nearly wipe out all the orcs, while the rocs and ballista deal with the cavalry. Kyrre buys back, and Pasha, after thinking a bit, decides to surrender. The key mistake of the opponent was that Kyrre did not leave after capturing my Dungeon, but recklessly attacked my respawn. A bit early IMO. Thanks for the game!
I don't understand why I keep crossing out CM. I'm not ready for anything except it.
In the first week, I took a village. I went to the Underground with 40+ Water Elementals and Graveyard, taking Swordsmen from the Outpost and Griffons from the Castle. Then I defeated 90+ simple Golems, losing 13 Archers on those guards. I took a Tower, then fought until I had 50 Crocodile Men, upgrading the Horses. I took Conflict, Horses in the Stronghold.
In the second week, it was a shame that the Hero came without Archers. The village of Archers couldn't provide enough Archers, and I also couldn't upgrade the Horses in the Stable in time; I provided as many as I could afford, broke through a teleport with 30+ Dryads, there were 20-49 Grave Golems, I went to another teleport, broke through 30+ Diamond Golems, there were 10-19 Horses and the Dungeon of Andrei, I'm waiting for reinforcements from the Castle in the form of Griffons from the Outpost. I built 1 floor in the Conflict, on the next turn I broke through the Horses, took the village, and stood at the entrance to Andrei's respawn. On the next turn, Andrei attacks, and the ballista decides.
Thanks for the game! I'll pass on the next tournament; I don't like anything except CM.
I don't understand why I keep rejecting the CM. I don't seem to be ready for anything else, except for it.
Because everyone is tired of CM, and people want something new. I think learning 3 out of 5 templates isn't that difficult. Pit kindly provided the diagrams and descriptions. Read the diagram, generate 20-50 maps in the editor, play a couple of games against the computer, and you'll know the template. ;)
5. Information about the tournament progress will be updated once a week, on Mondays.
The winner of the qualifying round left until August 11th and answered questions on ICQ: vitalic (20:29): a) on weekdays from 20:00 to 24:00 Moscow time, and on weekends from morning to 24:00 b) do not enter c) do not buy upgrades d) ICQ: 260462200
Two more participants, Alex_R and Vigo, are away. I hope that this absence will not prevent them from finishing the tournament on time.
I added the information left in the applications of vitalic, LeBron, Dubrovin Pavel, Javdet, Wlk777, numOne, Mizrael to the first post. Pasha, please announce a convenient time. Andrey, I don't have any information from you.
Rule for 8mm6: - If the computer in the castle has upgrades of levels 1, 6, and 7 in the Conflux or level 4 in the Necropolis, then it is forbidden to upgrade your troops of these levels and hire the upgraded version of the creatures. If the Necromantic Amplifier has been built, then upgrading vampires is prohibited, and you do not need to disband additional skeletons. Supported by 7 players, we will leave it unchanged. No further answers are needed for question c).
5 participants voted in favor of a mandatory restart on slow maps for 8mm6 and Jebus cross. If anyone else from those who haven't responded votes for it, it will be implemented.

a) On weekdays – after 6:00 PM Kyiv time, on weekends – except during nighttime. b) There is no need to introduce rest on slow roads. c) d) 387093098. Why ask for my ICQ number every time? Don't you have these numbers?
The next tournament – I’ll pass, I don’t like anything except for skirmishes.
Pasha, I’m going to say something that might offend you, but don’t take it personally:p. Your ego was just hurt (and that’s normal) because you couldn’t win a couple of times... but the opponents here are all worthy, unlike in the ranked season, where you get half of your points from weaker players... and it’s not about the skirmishes... And Kostya is right that there’s nothing complicated about these strategies; you just need to pay a little more attention, especially since your opponents are on equal footing with you. So, don’t get discouraged ;) – and I wouldn’t want a good tournament to lose a good player just because of two losses.

No, Rom, I'll finish this one, I was talking about the next one... if there are experiments with templates.
I really need to practice with other templates, but there's neither the time nor the desire for it. :)
And it's better to do it on weekends, because work is really exhausting.

Pash, do what I recently did randomly (generated 25 times a swamp on a Dungeon map) and you'll see that luck - like penalty kicks in football - skill matters, but luck matters just as much, and if 2 equal players, then it definitely depends on the generation. And the tournament was designed to identify the strongest - all the more so, there is room for creativity - you can discard 2 templates that you don't like or 2 that are convenient for your opponent.... And a good player will perform well on any map - for example, Vik - won the tournament on a random map, reached the semi-finals on Jebus, and was second in the RP tournament on Might & Magic VI, and he posted his saves on a balanced map - it was impressive...

No need to encourage us :) , and there is no randomness in penalties, you just need to control your nerves and hit where you need to, and it's a goal... Nothing complicated :)
Since everyone is going off-topic... In football, there are fewer random events than in a computer program, but, in my opinion, they still exist and are significant. You also need to be able to handle the pressure, but for a goalkeeper, it's not about nerves, but purely about experience and reaction time. Either they guessed correctly, or they didn't. Either they reacted, or they didn't. This is what I, as a professional goalkeeper, am saying.

I think that as a professional goalkeeper, you know that the chance of saving a properly executed penalty is much less than 5%? ;)
