Wlk777 (red, Castle, Valeska, Turis) def. Javdet (blue, Rampart, Kirr, Kirr) 8mm6 233
The game was very interesting; it would take too long to describe everything. We clashed several times. At first, I was getting beaten (my opponent had a hidden stash with unique creatures), but then I turned the tide by suddenly capturing a well-developed Necropolis with a huge number of unrecruited troops. After that, all my opponent had to do was find me, but he caught me in a castle... and paid the price. Of course, in this scenario, the Log and Boots of Speed helped me a lot. Thank you for a very interesting and dynamic game.
I controlled the game for a long time and was more than confident in my victory – I took 2 Necropolises, had a good income, and once or twice a week, I deliberately engaged in exchanges with my opponent using my native troops while accumulating resources. But I made a mistake by leaving the Necropolis undefended – and Turis had incredible speed. And then, for some reason, I sold my home city, even though 4 peasants and 3 other creatures, along with summoned fish, could have held the defense. There were still good chances – Gosha could have had a full set of artifacts for Necromancy, which would have given him about fifty skeletons at a time, but the camps, due to the infighting, deprived Gosha of easy neutral creatures. In the end, I attacked to avoid torturing myself or my opponent, although I could have dragged it out a bit longer.
Thank you for the game... it was interesting.
P.S. And it's good that we both took the issue of upgrading vampires very seriously; otherwise, there could have been another mess with mutual grievances. Therefore, I ask the organizer to urgently make an amendment specifically for this scenario: can vampires be officially upgraded, or not?
