But I'm also a generation older! I don't care about all the new stuff. My computer can't handle it. I've never even played StarCraft.

I haven't played any of those games; I've heard of and seen WoW, Lineage, and Perfect World, but for some reason, I never felt the urge to voluntarily waste my free time (and many, as I've heard, spend not only their free time but also all their time on it, plus incur certain material costs).
Value your time – it's your own life! You won't have another one, and living in fictional worlds at the expense of yourself is at least foolish and unwise when there's a great alternative.
