I watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and I liked it; it's quite interesting. Plus, I had a version that was leaked from the editing table, so some of the special effects weren't finished. The first time I saw it, I chuckled at some of the scenes with calculations (distance to the object, drawings, lines, diagrams)...

Yesterday I watched "Stilyagi".:rolleyes:
The era of "gray Soviet life" and the vibrant world of the Stilyagi – an interesting idea from the director. Yarmolnik plays a Jew:smile54:.
Overall, the film was a success.:smile20:

There's enough grayness and mold even now:rolleyes: And in general, the film was disappointing... Everything is too exaggerated, hyperbolic, and pronounced. The only plus is the moral at the end – about how true style is something completely different, and not this ridiculous horror. Although this upset the main character, I was satisfied that at least my time wasn't wasted. :D
Another plus is Sergei Garmash :) An actor of great talent, an adornment to any film.

P.S. I was very amused by the name of the main character – Mels (Marx + Engels + Lenin + Stalin) That's a really good touch:smile54:

I watched "Star Trek" yesterday, the one that's showing in theaters. It's the only "Star Trek" movie I've seen from beginning to end. The film is interesting, but in my opinion, it's nothing extraordinary.

I also watched Fast & Furious. To be honest, I was disappointed; I expected more.
I don't really feel like going to the cinema to watch it, though.

I didn't like it much either. Maybe they could have included more racing scenes, but something still feels missing....

To me, it seemed like a regular, normal movie about racing... with shooting, a revenge plot, and Vin Diesel.

Fast & Furious? Hmm... I didn't even finish watching it and turned it off; it's such a banal and predictable story. Aren't they tired of showing this? The same thing over and over: racing and gangs. There's more shooting and action than racing. The second one was the best film.

What else can they do? Any sequel will be worse than the original. What should I watch?:smile26:
