Depeche Mode is a British new wave music group formed in 1980 in the town of Basildon. This group created its own style in the genres of electronic and rock music and is one of the most successful and long-lasting groups in the world. Depeche Mode continues to release albums, tour, and still sounds modern, despite the fact that the group is over 25 years old.

But I think everyone already knows that :p

Do you like them, and do you even listen to them?

I respect the band; they're good, although I don't listen to them much, but there are some songs that I really like.

The band is pretty good. In my opinion, they have two excellent albums from 1989 and 1990. The rest, in my opinion, are not as good. My preference is for Pink Floyd and The Doors.

Great guys!
Step aside from the way of a better man than you
So you fall at his feet hes the one who betrays you
Its the servants devotion for the decay
Stand up

There are no flowers on your grave
There are no chains
There I keep chanting for the forgotten name © Amorphis

So, there is a compilation album, right? o_O

Well, for a group of such scale, there must be compilation albums to choose from:

The Singles 81>85 (1985)
The Singles 86>98 (1998)
Remixes 81–04 (2004)
The Best Of, Volume 1 (2006)
The Complete Depeche Mode (2006)
Всадник СМЕРТИ
- Смерть - судьба всех и каждого.

Очень Хаотичный Лидер Клана "Рыцари апокалипсиса"

I had heard of this band for a long time, but I only listened to them for the first time now – and now I only listen to them, and my MP3 player is full of their songs. How could I have ignored them for so long?)))

Freelove – they are everything to me They are one of the few artists I’ve been listening to for… 10 years. Hmm, maybe they are the only ones))

P.S. Although, I just checked, and they have very few listens.

The name has been around for a long time, but I only listened to it for the first time now.
Wow... ))
Actually, it's not surprising that some people are just discovering Depeche Mode now... :)

The first song I heard from them "back then" was "Little 15" (I didn't even understand the meaning yet... :D)

Even now, when I hear it, it still gives me chills...
Their live music is almost as good as California, in short... :smile07:

As for me, the music is a bit boring. I know many better ones in terms of melody (in my opinion), and it lacks some heaviness (heaviness not in the sense of dull banging).

Барон "Vampires"

Отдай свои прошлые сны,
В сомненьях себя обрети,
В бешеном танце душа кружится!
Не думай, что будет потом,
Здесь и сейчас мы живем,
Стань хоть на миг сам собой, слышишь!

what's missing? it's not hard rock or metal, it shouldn't be heavy)) or is only heavy music good music? there's not much good music among hard rock anyway.
