New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

In Good versus Evil, on Impossible difficulty, I placed Paladins in the first week and headed towards the Warlock. The Warlock had a decent army, including Hydras, and with the traps, he wouldn't let me pass. I don't remember exactly what I did then. But placing Dragons with the Warlock in the second week isn't that easy; you still need 30 gold.
Let's try to keep the discussion about the Knight in this thread. There are many other topics in the section (for example, a general one), where you can discuss other questions.
Alex_R clearly described the strategy for "Good and Evil": in the second week, with 6 Paladins and the rest of your army, you capture the Warlock and then head towards the Dragons. By the way, with good resource chains, you can upgrade Spearmen and/or Swordsmen for free outside the city. Plus, you can buy Medusas along the way. Of course, by the time you storm the city, your hero will already have some levels, specifically in Ballistics and Leadership (otherwise, it will be difficult).

Colleague, but still, a person is unlikely to spend precious gems and sulfur on a couple of guilds of mages, playing on Good and Evil for warlocks...
I didn't quite understand. It's quite difficult for the Warlock not to control Dragon City. The Sorceress and Knight usually get there faster. But the Warlock needs to build dragons in 2 weeks and then spend another 10 turns moving them to Dragon City. It's unlikely to create a chain; there isn't enough money to have 7-8 heroes.
Warlocks with gargoyles and magic could control the approaches to Dragon City, with the task of weakening the Knight's army if he tries to go there.
And taking a Sorceress while playing as a Knight... as I understand it, you wouldn't play as a Knight, but as a Sorceress. Yes, but to get a Dragon Lord, you need a strong hero with decent stats and build Phoenixes. And that also takes until day 15 and beyond.
Then what will you use to fight the dragons from the Magma Clan? The Phoenix deals approximately 25% less damage. Four Phoenixes with an attack of, say, 10 will take down a Red Dragon in one turn, but they probably won't be able to defeat a Black Dragon. To replace the effectiveness of four Phoenixes, you would need about 20 White Unicorns or around 70 Dwarves.
The idea of capturing the Magma Clan was also mentioned on the second week as a possible further development, if capturing the Dragon City is complicated by certain circumstances. Phoenixes can easily deal with the roaming mages, but I wouldn't use them to storm the Dragon City: they won't be very useful there and can bring much more benefit by roaming the map.
I still don't understand, are you suggesting using a Knight to eliminate a Sorceress? But that's just unethical in this game.

by the way, does anyone actually use peasants? :)
