It was difficult to catch the heroes after capturing their castles. The Barbarians, having recruited Djinns, also captured the southern city in the desert. So, my result is 10 days. I am quite satisfied with it. By the way, with a Warlock on the first day and without boots, it is quite possible to reach the Knight's castle in 6 days.

By the way, I didn't have time to try the boots strategy. I didn't take either the unicorn boots or the griffin boots to save time, and maybe that would have led to a different result, but I didn't have enough time to consider this option.
And 10 days will probably be a good result. So far, only Romanuel has done better in 9 days.
It seems only 2 people played for HP; it will be interesting to see their results, and I'm also curious about VDV_forever's result.

Perhaps I should be happy that I took first place for the third time in a row, but I am overwhelmed with feelings of resentment and annoyance. How is this possible, and why?

Yes, the quorum was reached (in total, considering the players from both resources), but where are the veterans of this game? Where are Nzol, Sub-Zero, Kamikaze, Fireball, Alex_R, Prorok, where are you, friends? Why did I spend so much effort and time to achieve an acceptable result, why did I improve my skills to the point of exhaustion? Thank you at least to Romanuel for his support, but he clearly played just to meet the quorum. Andre44_44 and Elcidere also didn't play at their full potential, which is a pity, as you both have enormous potential! If you had played two or three more times, the result would have been much higher! But thank you very much for supporting our resource and showing a result, one way or another!

Who will I compare results with now? And who will answer the question of whether the maximum was achieved on this map?
I know that times are tough now, and there is a crisis, but that doesn't mean that we should all work diligently like Pinocchio's father; we also need to rest. Or have you given up on Heroes 1 altogether? If so, just say so, so that people know, and don't "try" to achieve a result, but instead play occasionally, degrading as a player...
Or were you unable to complete it in 7 days, but didn't have the courage to submit an 8-day save? I just don't know what to think; in any case, I am very upset, and I will disappear for a while and then reappear online.

P.S.S. The theoretical limit on the map is 6 days, but it is practically impossible to achieve (probably); in any case, I spent several hours checking. The Blackwind village can be taken on the 4th day, but there is not enough gold to build and hire a hero on the same day! And in terms of skills, I was one step short of having a total skill score of 18 (with 7 game days).

P.S.S.S. For the organizers: save 1 (Hero companion Yog with Amulet +3).GM1 illustrates that the hero companion Yog has an Amulet +3 to strength. This hero, in 100% of cases, either "doesn't buy" it, and the artifact disappears from the map, or he buys it. Therefore, if any of the players have this artifact on one of their heroes, the player has violated the rules of the tournament, and his save should be annulled!

Actually, I took Blackwind Village on day 5, and I also captured the Green Castle by that day. There was also a lot of gold, so I didn't have to save on heroes.:smile01: Of course, you can take Blackwind Village on day 4, but then you won't be able to take the Green Castle on day 5 (you won't have enough moves!), and if you don't take it on day 5, you won't be able to catch the scattered Greens on day 6.:smile01: And it's not a given that the Red faction will build a level 3 magic building on day 6! That's the situation. So, 7 days is the maximum on the map!

By the way, when I was playing through the map for the first time to scout and figure out who's who with the Phoenixes and so on, my companion hero, Yog, with the Amulet of +3, easily defeated him without even letting him take a turn. But in the version you sent, this guy managed to escape.
