TOURNAMENT RULES

Since this is a joint tournament, the following agreement has been established between the two resources:

Points will be distributed as follows:
first place - 10 points, second - 8, third - 6, fourth - 5, fifth - 4, sixth - 3, seventh - 2 and eighth - 1 point. When registering for the tournament, each player indicates which resource they are representing.
- Standard Prizes will be issued according to the rules of each portal.
- HW will provide a prize in the form of a special trophy (see below), HP provides a prize in the form of a fief and an arroba!
- To receive prizes on both resources, you must be a registered user on both HW and HP!
- Judging: Maximix from HP and Kyle from HW.

The game is played according to HW rules, but with a restriction on the use of the LMOracle program (using this program within this tournament is prohibited!)

1. To participate in the 11th offline tournament for Heroes I "Bridge", you must register on our website www.heroesworld.ru and also submit an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes I from Buka. The save will be generated on the Russian version 1.1.

3. The goal of the game is to win the map in the minimum number of days.
The winner of this tournament receives a prize in the form of a trophy (in the profile and under the avatar).
This tournament is rated, so you should start earning your rating now, as at the end of the year, the top-rated player on our site will receive a separate prize in the form of an absolute winner's trophy, as well as an honorary certificate sent by mail. The rating will be calculated for 2009.

4. Results will be evaluated primarily by the lowest number of days. In case of a tie in days - the qualifying criterion is the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING EQUIPPED ARTIFACTS; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.

6. Send the save to the email address kylegoogl@gmail.com

The submitted save must contain the tournament number (11), the participant's number in the application table, the abbreviation of the tournament stage (М - Bridge) and the player's Nick.

Example:

11_1_М_Kyle.GM1

7. The result of a player who played in violation of the rules will be annulled, and the player themselves penalized.
The result of a player who used cheats during completion will be annulled, and the player will receive a lifetime ban!

8. Discussing the tournament on the Internet while it is in progress is PROHIBITED!!!
(Players who violate this rule automatically disqualify themselves from playing the tournament; their results will not be counted and will be annulled).

9. The tournament starts on March 5, 2009, and will last until March 31, 2009 (inclusive!), Moscow time. Final results of the tournament will be announced on April 5, 2009.

10. After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:

save accepted - by a bold Nick.
save counted - by a blue bold Nick.
save not counted - by a red bold Nick.

Sequence of actions:

1.Download the save.

2.The downloaded Save must be placed on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes I.

3.Load it and start playing at any time convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

4.After reaching the final action (after which victory occurs), you must save again.

5.A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If provided, the best ones will be published in the thread: "Hall of Fame"!

6.Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

7.Wait for the results.

The name and link are in my signature. The tournament is also cross-portal, so a similar cup would be appropriate. Without any pictures... Unless it's a book of air magic :D

There's something wrong with this save file: - All castles and towns are missing their upper parts. - An artifact that grants +3 Knowledge, located at the bottom (under the Thieves' Guild), causes the game to crash when picked up (regardless of whether it's you or the AI).

Truncated castles are a bug that doesn't get fixed when editing a DOS map for Windows. This, of course, looks very bad, as I told Maximix. But, we decided to play on this edited map anyway, even though I suggested another one. Essentially, the only edit was to remove the exit to the sea. This was done to prevent players from immediately starting to dig boats for their companies on the very first day, which would completely ruin the intrigue of the game. However, adding artifacts seems to have caused a serious bug, which, as you correctly noted, leads to the game crashing! Conclusion: we rushed a bit with the start of the tournament. I apologize in advance to everyone who has already started playing. The save will be replaced soon! The selection of the map and save was handled by the host from HP.
