Who do you think sings better?
Are Knights the greatest band you know? =[br][/br]Well, yes, I also listened to LP first, then Nightwish, and then everything else.
So you fall at his feet hes the one who betrays you
Its the servants devotion for the decay
Stand up
There are no flowers on your grave
There are no chains
There I keep chanting for the forgotten name © Amorphis
Hmm, I think I heard something like that - Knights were supposedly saying that their new album will be released in March! ;)

By the way, I have instrumental versions of DPP.

I don't know why you thought about a bassist, and I didn't even understand what Sinigheri is.

In my opinion, this is the "anthem of Nightwish" - their song "Nightquest"
Hearing music from the deepest forest
Songs as a seduction of sirens
The elf-folk is calling me
Tapio, Bearking, Ruler of the forest
Mielikki, Bluecloak, Healer of the ill and sad
Open the gate and let me follow the uncarven path
The way to the lands
Where as a hero I stand
The path where Beauty met the Beast
Elvenpath
It's the honesty of these worlds
Ruled by magic and mighty swords
That makes my soul long for the past
Elvenpath
The moonwitch took me to a ride on a broomstick
Introduced me to her old friend Home Gnome
Told me to keep the sauna warm for him
At the grove I met rest-the folk of my fantasies
Bilbo, Sparhawk, goblins and pixies,
Snowman, Willow, trolls and the seven dwarfs
The path goes forever on
(Repeat chorus)
As I return to my room
And as sleep takes me by my hand
Madrigals from the woods
Carry me to neverland
In this spellbound night
The world's an elvish sight
Elvenpath(translated by Maria Immortamo)
In the welcoming shade of the forest
The call of silence is heard, so soothing...
Accompanied only by the full moon,
The howling of a werewolf
And the path under my bare feet -
Elvenpath...
I hear music from the depths of the forest
Songs of siren seduction
The elves are calling me
Tapio, Lord of the Forest
Miekki, Blue Frog, Savior of the sick and sad
They open the gates for me, allowing me to walk the wild path
This is the path to the lands,
Where I remain a hero,
The path where Beauty meets the Beast -
Elvenpath...
This world of honesty
Is ruled by magic and mighty swords -
That's why my soul longs for the past,
Elvenpath...
The moon witch took me for a ride on her broomstick,
Introduced me to her old friend, the gnome,
Told me to keep the sauna warm for him
And in the grove, I met the rest - the people from my fantasies
Bilbo, Evil Owl, goblins and fairies
Snowman, Willow, trolls and the seven dwarfs
The path will be eternal
This is the path to the lands,
Where I remain a hero,
The path where Beauty meets the Beast -
Elvenpath.
This world of honesty
Is ruled by magic and mighty swords -
That's why my soul longs for the past,
Elvenpath...
When I return to my room
And fall asleep,
Songs from the depths
Take me back to Neverland.
In this enchanted night
I look at the world as the elves do...
In this enchanted night
I look at the world as the elves do...
P.S. By the way, the Hong Kong concert recording was released in March, and that's it.

More than a week ago, on Monday, I listened to the latest album by my favorite band Nightwish - Imaginaerum, which I had been putting off for two and a half months because I wasn't in the mood to listen to it. And I don't want to listen to music that might become very dear to me without being in the right mood. I promised myself that I would finish writing and post this, so here it is, finished and posted :) First impressions are more important than all other impressions.
I only listened to it completely once, but afterwards I played some of the songs separately several times.
At first, I was going to write brief comments about each song individually, but I decided that wasn't necessary; I'll just describe my overall impression. And my overall impression is positive. However, the pop sound that appeared on the previous album and seemed specifically designed for Anette's vocals remains. I was also a little worried about the children's choir – before this, I had heard it on two songs by different bands, and I didn't like it. But everything turned out fine; the children's choir harmonizes perfectly with the music, making it unusual and interesting. What else? I liked Anette's vocals more than on the previous album; she has changed her singing style somewhat. Just a little bit, maybe not noticeable at all for some :) Well, and of course, I enjoyed the guitar solos; I love them, they are one of my favorite elements of the band's work, their signature style. Give me a solo, and I can tell if Tuomas wrote it or not :) I headbanged fiercely to them.
I especially want to highlight the song Scaretale. The intro immediately blew me away: the chorus of children's voices sounds like a curse being read aloud. Then comes the orchestral part with the children's choir, brilliant Nightwish-style arrangements as always. And then Anette's "witchy" vocals. The word "witchy" is used here in a positive sense - it evokes images of witches, and the vocal part itself is performed excellently. And then comes the most brilliant part of the song. I won't try to describe it, but I will say that it evoked associations with old children's cartoons, when some kind of villain appears and starts cheerfully singing his dark songs. Imaginaerum works, indeed. Scaretale! A scary tale! In short, a masterpiece.
Among the other songs, I would mention Ghost River, I Want My Tears Back (a cheerful folk tune with an Irish bagpipe), Turn Loose The Mermaids (it reminded me of Blackmore's Night: a pleasant, fairytale-like, good folk song).
Guys, what do you think of this album?
