There's no discussion here about playing incorrectly. You need to understand and feel how to play correctly when you have free time. And with RTA, it's a completely different story.

I didn't suggest comparing heroes at level 20. In RTA, heroes at level 20 are used, and the situation shows that no Orc is overpowered and can be defeated by all other races.
Okay, fine)) Then let's take heroes of level 18:) The difference is only in a couple of characteristics:) I'm not venting my own negativity on anyone. I'm just objectively assessing the situation:) All races have their own advantages, and everything depends on the player's development principles and the environment in which the battle takes place (I mean the type of battle). I personally prefer the Dark Elves)) They have a small increase in stats, but they are incredibly strong:D To each their own, as they say. And the outcome of all battles is determined by the saying: whoever doesn't step forward is the winner:smile19: Oh, and one more thing)0 An Orc can put up a good fight against Elves)) And here, too, everything depends on luck. Despite their differences, there is something similar in the tactics of playing as Orcs and as Elves (it's just more convenient to play as the latter). The hero whose troops go first and wins, the one who makes the first strike and destroys the first unit, most often becomes the winner, if the levels of the warriors and the selection of skills are the same)) Alas, "HoM&M5" is not chess; it has an element of dependence on luck

An Orc might be able to hold off the Elves, if he's lucky.
But statistically speaking, the Elves have all the advantages.
With such incredible initiative, they're unlikely to let the Centaurs get the first shot in.
Of course :) The first two types of creatures for the Orcs are completely useless. If demons have imps that drain mana, and elves have spellcasters, then here we just see a bunch of useless creatures. Although in the early stages of development, you'll have to bite your tongue and wait for at least Orcish Warriors to appear.

And what about the Orcs' unique features?
By level 20, troops enter battle already at the 2nd level of rage.
Secondly, there is a destructive spell that deals damage equal to the number of creatures in the unit. By level 20, this is approximately around 2000.
In general, it's a decent faction. I think you need to know how to play it properly.
I'm not talking about small maps right now; I just don't find them interesting. But XL or larger maps, that's what I enjoy.
I also love campaigns. They have a plot and 5 missions, so you can take your time, develop, and enjoy the game.
In duel mode, all Orc heroes seem to be weaker (at least, that's how it seems to me).
In a real game, the number of troops should be higher (such a rapid increase!).
In a battle against Dwarves, Orcs have decent chances. Dwarves have low initiative, and their damage is also low – it's difficult to break their Rage.
That's correct. And Orcs are indeed underpowered in duel mode. I tried playing as them, but oh my! They got crushed like kittens. On the global map, Orcs are quite effective in battles against any race, but relying on them is only worthwhile with prolonged, non-confrontational development against the opponent. Orcs are only strong at high levels of development.

Are you saying that the Orcs have a more difficult development path than the Dwarves? Come on, the Dwarves have one of the most challenging starts. I believe that the Orcs can only defeat the Dwarves in the early game. Because in the beginning, the Dwarves probably won't have enough resources for runes, and their army deals low damage; Blood Rage will help us...
No, that's not what I meant. I wanted to say that Orcs aren't some kind of special, overpowered race. The balance in this game, in my opinion, is very well done. There are just some specific development features. And, in my opinion, it's easier for Dwarves because they have an amazing unit in terms of defense – their Warriors don't rely on attack and defense like the Orcs do with their Rage ability. And right now, I'm talking about the first or second week.
If you manage to quickly get reinforcements and a stunning attack, along with trappers and 3-4 shamans (for slowing and speeding up), and centaurs, the Orcs will have a good start.
