There’s no invisible text there; you just need to think... Yes, there’s allowed some off-topic discussions and so on within the Heroes forum, i.e., letter by letter... you can create any topics. But you need to stick to the topic name and the meaning of the first post. And if you don’t ban users for swearing, no matter what section (and they found some veteran of three wars and five revolutions, who’s only been on the forum for a week), then you might as well close the forum altogether, because such permissiveness doesn’t lead to anything good.
With the same logic, you could say, "the forum should be closed if the rules are defined too vaguely and can be interpreted in different ways – this doesn’t lead to anything good." By the way, I’m speaking based on my own experience. On one of these forums, the moderators, under the same pretext, simply violated the rules. To avoid any doubt, I’ll describe the situation: the forum prohibits insults. Simple and clear, right? And then, one person called another a "charlatan-theorist." A rather dubious insult, but still, it’s an insult. In response, the offended person unleashed a torrent of the most vile curses (which, by the way, is also prohibited). The first person was banned, and the second didn’t even receive a warning. I can only add that, by a strange coincidence, the second person was friends with 2 out of 3 moderators of the section. I think no further comments are needed. And there, they said exactly the same thing, that "you shouldn’t take the rules literally," "you need to be able to think for yourself, not read everything letter by letter," and so on. After this incident, I have a very strong negative reaction when forum moderation involves a double standard in interpreting the rules.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
2 Siverfale, I agree... I've been talking about the poorly organized section for about two years now, but until recently, there was no reaction... Previously, everything was within reasonable limits, i.e., the topics were almost anything, but there was order in the topics... now, unfortunately, it has become common to write anything and anywhere. About acquaintances, etc., yes, this happens, but our forum has already had precedents of coordinators being stripped of their rights for abuse, so it's a bit off-topic and certainly not about Loken's ban (this is beyond discussion because it's a clear violation, and if someone was in cahoots with him, they shouldn't write about abuse here, but rather write a letter to the administration describing the episode).
So, let's summarize:
Exactly! Guys! How can this be? How long will we tolerate moderator and coordinator abuse? Banning for flooding and off-topic posts in a flooding section?! This... well, I think it's clear what it is. Quote: All about everything. A sub-forum for discussing any topic. Off-topic and flooding are not prohibited in this sub-forum. However, simply because of a coordinator's whim, one of the few remaining veterans of the section, who still visits and posts here, unlike most, was banned. And how is this to be understood? Do they want to simply kill the section?
That was nonsense, because the ban was for using profanity, so I think the question and call for abuse have been exhausted and are inappropriate.

You're not very familiar with such forums, are you?
Apparently so, maybe you can share a link to a GAME forum where Tournaments are held, which participates in inter-portal competitions, and where there is chaos in the topics/rules, etc., where profanity and other things are used to insult or simply express thoughts...
Тьма - это то, что позволяет смертным не забывать, как ярок бывает свет.
We are not concerned about Lock; we are concerned about the blatant disregard for the rules and the arbitrary banning of a person simply because a moderator (or coordinator, I don't remember) felt like it.
In response, the offended party unleashed a torrent of harsh profanity (which, by the way, is also prohibited). The first person was banned, while the second received no warning at all.
Do you even realize that you are contradicting yourself? At least make up your mind about what constitutes profanity! Lock was banned specifically for his comments on his deleted post, which contained profanity. And don't pretend to be innocent by claiming that there is no profanity there. You know perfectly well that there is. And if you don't consider it profanity, then do at least one of the following: 1) Type this word into a search engine and see what the search results show. 2) Ask your acquaintances, friends, or even better, your parents, if it is profanity or not. 3) Write it to your best friend in response to their message. 4) Think about it: if someone said (wrote) that to you, would you consider it an insult? By the way, I am not addressing anyone in particular; this applies to everyone. And by the way, don't pretend that you are all unaware of which specific post I banned him for. If anyone is unaware, they can ask him directly, although he has already complained to everyone about the malicious coordinator! So, it is unlikely that you are unaware. We need to maintain some decorum, even in this section! I don't see any sign that profanity is allowed here!
"Как это странно всегда.. Вроде бы взрослые люди, А в голове ерунда.. Мечтаем как дети о чуде.."
Previously, everything was kept within reasonable limits; that is, the topics were almost anything, but there was order in the topics... now, unfortunately, it has become common to write anything and anywhere.
Order already exists, and in the "haven of debauchery," conversations can be on any topic (if I understand correctly :).
Well, that's just great. :) It stopped being interesting a long time ago... We played a bit... called it a "kindergarten," and banned someone for a short time... Everyone has their own toys.
Tomorrow holds no promises Except the ones we've made

1) "ZHEPE EBR*LO [in order to maintain ethics and aesthetics in communication with moderators, it is veiled with a whole asterisk. I wonder if I'll get banned again?] is a phrase invented by the user "lepry" Kyrgyz. It doesn't mean anything, but it sounds like an insult to a Russian-speaking person. Initially, it was assumed that this was a phrase in the Kyrgyz language (due to the author's identity), but this statement was later refuted."
As you can see, the "disgusting" association is created solely by the "disgusting consciousness." Draw your own conclusions.
Liz, I already wrote why I closed the pub... maybe you should look somewhere else.
By the way, you could also ask the Creator why he closed the Grand Campaign... after all, it's like closing a Haven.
yeah, and some are afraid to contradict their fake comrades, because we all love flooding and anime! although I don't do the first, but at least there's anime! :[br][/br] and there's no need to confuse things here, because moderation isn't about being a star on the hall of fame or achieving worldwide fame, having a ton of money, etc. I'm not stopping you from communicating normally, but these nonsensical posts... what's the point? ...well, let's say you can "write anything" here, but what's the meaning of this nonsense? ...just for fun? is it fun and interesting? I doubt it.... even Lock and Siv don't know the goal (meaning) of this (because there isn't one), so why do it? ...is it really better than normal communication? or is everyone tired of living well and peacefully, so they want excitement, arguments, and stress? ...well, go somewhere else if you need that, because the rest of us are doing just fine without it.
By the way, Kosha. There's nothing you enjoy more than puffing away. Rolling a joint in the evening or taking a couple of hits at a club – that's your thing. But at least you're not watching a talent show, and that's a good thing. Puff, puff, puff. Beware of dying at a rave.
On HeroesWorld, there has been too much arguing and flaming lately, mostly in the Flood and CLF (as Arandor likes to call this section ;) ). It's especially "pleasant" for me personally to observe how forum friends—albeit virtual ones—don't get along with each other.
I don't know the reason behind this... Whether an evil random factor has decreed that forum members are bound to clash with each other, or whether this was bound to happen sooner or later regardless of the community.
Perhaps I am mistaken about something. Lately, when the chat was working, I had no desire to go there (due to laziness and the fact that it was mostly boring), and therefore, the picture I'm painting now is somewhat inaccurate.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
