I'm late, but I'll still answer Vaishan's question. So, I voted for the option "I don't know yet, but I'm leaning towards 'buying'." The advantages are, of course, that you don't have to mess around with 3 discs; there will be one box that will take up very little space. Secondly, all the patches for the games in the Gold Edition are already included, so there won't be problems like, for example, after reinstalling Windows, the patches are lost and you have to download them again (with my slow, albeit unlimited, internet, this is a hassle). Plus, in Tribes of the East, I'm not playing with my own save; I created an image of my friend's disc). And ultimately, my choice will probably be influenced by whether I can sell the original and Hammers of Fate for a more or less decent price. Or maybe I can just beg my parents for it for Christmas!)

P.S. It's actually cool when two boxes are next to each other - the Gold Edition of the 5th game and Platinum 1, 2, 3.) Although, ideally, instead of platinum, a complete collection of Heroes 1-4 from Buku would be great.

Are there many of them, and what are they like – single-player scenarios or multiplayer maps? Have you played the scenario based on Dark Messiah, and is it interesting? Please tell me more, if it's not too much trouble. Yes, and the price is quite reasonable. In our city, you can't find Tribes of the East for less than 350, so I'm not sure if the Gold Edition will cost 400... But I won't buy it for more than 500.

I understand... This stage wasn't revealed to us in DM&M. After the first tutorial mission, in which we actually find the crystal, the second mission begins, and we already approach the gates of Stonehelm.
If it's a campaign, that's good, but it's more likely a mission.
Tribes of the East for 200 rubles? That's outrageous! I went to the store today (the prices there are quite low), and the Gold Edition isn't available yet, but Tribes costs 350. Well, I'll wait a bit longer or check other stores. But the price is just shocking, at least for me. They sell pirated copies for that much money here!))

Now, in more detail: Fenig first asks to find a crystal, introduces Sareth to Xana, when Sareth approaches Stonehelm, he discovers necromancers and is given the task of killing the necromancers in order to gain an audience with some mage in Stonehelm... In the Gold Edition, the game versions are 1.6 (original), 2.1 (Hammers of Fate), and 3.0 (Tribes of the East). The first two have been patched to the latest version; for Tribes of the East, a patch is available (around 100 MB, found in the site's file archive), but it's not included on the Gold Edition disc. If you need the updates with the patch, you'll have to download it.

The Gold Edition doesn't offer anything new (except for one map that I don't find particularly interesting, and a few maps for multiplayer). Basically, it's not really necessary.

I have a question: why won't the update for Tribes of the East install? It says the game is not installed. Also, some cursors don't work in hardware mode. Overall, I'm disappointed with this version; it was much better in the 1C version.

I have a licensed gold edition. I liked everything, except for the voice acting in the game. I can't hear anything!
