Uh-huh. A connecting link. Terminator 2.5. But in the third movie, there are no references to the series. As for what happened to John after "being submerged in molten metal," he just lived on until he was a young man. Not surprising, since the series was filmed much later. And the third movie also has a moral. It's repeated every 10 minutes. But I still didn't understand it, whether "the future is predetermined" or not. And I liked the third movie. Of course, there are flaws too. In the first two, it's constantly stated that the machines enslaved everyone and drove humans into camps, and then a mystical John appeared, who taught the enslaved people to hit the machines hard in the eye with a shovel. And resistance movements broke out. But in the third movie, at the end, he immediately took the initiative into his own hands. By the way, did you notice that the third movie is the only Terminator film without scenes of a grim future with Necromancers marching over human skulls?

No, that's not true. There was a scene at the beginning showing Imperial Scouts cheering before the battle with the Necropolis, after which we saw the Necropolis Warriors themselves.

In my opinion, this series is just okay. The second Terminator was much better in terms of both plot and emotional impact. The third one already leaned more towards special effects. I would like to finally see a war between machines and humans, instead of them constantly running around in time.

I've been thinking about that too. But there are a couple of possibilities:
- There was a mistake made when creating the plot (I doubt it)
- They thought no one would notice
- They decided to let people figure it out themselves
I think option 2+3 is the most likely.

Well... With these time-traveling plot devices, inconsistencies started to appear even in the film trilogy, and here we have a series that tries to wedge itself into the already completed story of the "pre-war" era.

I actually liked "Chronicles"...
I started watching it only because it featured "Terminator," and at first, I thought, "What kind of mess did they make?" But then I liked it; there's less super-mega-action, but a lot of history and beautiful thoughts are expressed there. By the way, quotes from Edgar Allan Poe also fit in well.

And I wasn't very happy that Ren-TV interrupted the show in the middle...

Well, I don't know... Schwarzenegger is Schwarzenegger, but when it comes to history, he seems a bit out of place... should we put him everywhere?) I think he should also be used in moderation. That moderation is what's needed.
