lately, I've been listening to more metalcore...

Bullet for My Valentine, of course, I can't go a day without them. I haven't heard anyone who could perform better than them in this style, or at least not worse... but I'm not giving up, maybe I'll find someone someday:rolleyes:

Killswitch Engage - someone suggested them to me, it's good music, but I don't like their screaming.

and recently I found another good band - Atreyu, their vocals aren't great either, but I like the music. I especially want to mention their 2004 album (The Curse) - it's definitely worth listening to - recommended to anyone who understands metalcore at all;)

I listened to it – I didn't like it:( IMO, the music is too monotonous, and I didn't find anything beautiful in it.
Again, the screaming – I don't understand – does playing metalcore really require screaming so much (this isn't just about them).

I listen to Punk, Ska, and Rock.
From Punk: The coolest bands are Dёrgat', Danger, Green Day, Lumen, etc.
From Ska: Distemper
From Rock: Epidemia, Aria, Legion, etc.

I found melody and aggression in it...
I think the screaming is cool, but I still prefer Technical Metalcore (like Sikth, Protest The Hero, by the way, those are also my favorite bands).

And those bands I mentioned earlier, they're just Metalcore, nothing special, didn't really grab me...

No, I meant playing music, because by metalcore I mean the music itself, its style of performance. That's why I said that to play such music, it's not necessarily required to scream (in my opinion, screaming is not singing). In my opinion, it would be better if they played silently, but played so well that it gives you goosebumps. I don't care about the lyrics if they don't carry any semantic load, or if I don't understand their meaning. I listen to the music. And if I like the music, I listen to it even with screaming.

I listen to Russian rock (Slot), punk (Lumen), and Russian rap (there are many artists), plus some club music for variety.

Saturnus, Coldplay, Dope Stars Inc, Catamenia, Graveworm, Paul Van Dyk, DJ Feel, Katatonia, Fear Factory, Shamrain, Wolfsheim, Dark, Tiamat, ATB, Xe-None, Armin van Buuren, Anathema, Novembre, and many other artists...

Lately, I've been drawn to progressive music... Mainly Dream Theater, Ayreon, Pain of Salvation... and also melancholic Opeth.
