Posts from Black Metal, what is your opinion on it?

I've recently become quite addicted to it... I'd like to know who else is listening (and what they're listening to).

I don't like it. But not because they're Satanists. They play in a way that's unpleasant to listen to.

I love black metal. For example, Theatres Des Vampires... it's not immediately obvious what is black metal and what isn't. :)
But when a band dresses in all black and starts screaming incoherently in a chorus with growling vocals over terrible string playing about how Satan is a mole... it just becomes awful. :)
Only the music is good; pretentious garbage goes in the trash. :)
Music in the sense that it's actually music, and not just something awful.

I don't like it either. It's not appealing.

True black metal, unfortunately, only exists in Norway...

my favorite black metal bands: Nargaroth, Behemoth, Satyricon (early works), BURZUM. I'm also still trying to get into Grogoroth...

I like this style; it doesn't annoy me like death metal...
But I still prefer post-black metal and dark metal.
