Once upon a time, it was a great series on REN TV, and I didn't mind spending an hour a day watching it... But now, IMHO, it's a real mess, lacking any originality, and it all seems silly and just not the same. In any case, 15 seasons (or however many there are) is too much. But do you still watch Soldier?

I remember waiting for the fourth installment. There were so many advertisements about it. And then they started churning them out like on an assembly line. The quality reflected that. I recently watched a couple of episodes. There were some gypsies, lawyers... basically, it was nonsense. But it used to be great.

Listen, are there really 11 seasons? I thought only Brazilian TV shows were that long.

P.S. I watched the series for a short time, at the very beginning. Then I stopped because it became a banal, mass-produced product.

I watched from season 1 to 8, and it was very interesting. Then I just got tired of it, and now... it's awful. 15 seasons, how much more can they do? They're showing such nonsense that it's unwatchable... and they're planning to make a 16th season...

I used to love this series, but after the third season, it started to bore me. And when the fourth season ended, it became completely uninteresting :/. Without the main characters, the series lost its appeal.

On the contrary, I didn't like the desire to include characters from previous seasons at any cost. Sometimes it turned out to be quite dull. Even Shmatko is not the same anymore; the theme of a slightly simple-minded, naive warrant officer with a broad, kind soul has simply become stale from episode to episode. The further it went, the more ridiculous the officers became; it was more of a pun than a military unit. Humor should be present, of course, but not at every turn and not in a cheesy way. And in the latest seasons, that's exactly what it is (in its main part).

The plot is contrived, I agree. But who cares? There's profit, so everything is fine. Am I wrong?
