I've recently become interested in music... So, I'm curious, which of the forum users like this well-known folk band? I really appreciate their work for the pleasant music and amazing atmosphere. Yes, their songs are somewhat monotonous, but each one still evokes certain emotions in me, different for each one. Also, it's great to draw illustrations while listening to "Melnitsa"... Everyone has probably seen my latest dragon in "Art Fantasy" and guessed where it came from.

It's good to listen to while drinking beer. It's great for folk rock, although I'm not really a fan of that genre in general.

Pleasant, atmospheric music. It depends on your mood, of course, but still...

My favorite songs are probably "Dragon," "Alien," "To the North," and "Master of the Wind" (a cover, the original is by Manowar).

Mill! One of my favorite bands! I listened to them even before they were "number one on the Chartova Dyuzhina" and other similar things... They are really good! But their concerts have become bad... Because a bunch of random people gather in one huge hall for some unknown reason. It wasn't like that before... But still, they are awesome!:smile36:

In the end, it's not something terrible, but still, I don't listen to it. Apparently, it's terrible for me:D, or maybe I'm just crazy:confused:...

I like "The Tale of the Devil" – it's so lyrical and heartfelt. And the instrumental part is very well done. I agree about "Dragon" (it's a song in the spirit of Heroes ;) ), and "Contraband" is also one of my favorites, and "Sir John Backsword" is enjoyable with its philosophical ending about the peoples of the world. The other songs depend on my mood. I don't consider myself a fan of Melnitsa, but they are a very good band.

I really, really like their songs!)) Actually, Drakkosha got me hooked on them recently; before that, I hadn't even heard of her. Dragon is my favorite, as well as "Call of Blood," "Werewolf," and "Gates of Tamerlane" – it's a sad one. But overall, I haven't heard many of her songs, but these were enough to get me completely hooked!))

Whatever people say, I really like this band. It's great music to work to, relax to, just generally great music:smile20:

Now, about Melnitsa.

As I mentioned earlier, Melnitsa has very atmospheric music. It's unusual, and that's its strength. The lyrics (at least the ones I've listened to) are filled with beautiful expressions, vivid metaphors, and other beauties of the Russian language.
Of course, Melnitsa's music isn't for every occasion or mood, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
If we compare it to Slipknot, you can find tons of similar music, but finding something similar to Melnitsa's music... I think it's possible, but you'll have to put in some effort.

I listened to a few of their songs yesterday – most of them are slow – can anyone recommend their most upbeat songs?
I only liked "Call of Blood" out of everything I listened to. I don't see the point in downloading everything they have. "Sir John Backsword" is also pretty good.

The vocalist has a lovely voice, and the lyrics are pure poetry, very interesting.
Even though I don't listen to this kind of music often, I sometimes enjoy listening to a beautiful voice.
So, please recommend something with beautiful guitar melodies and interesting lyrics, the more upbeat, the better.

Their genre is folk rock :) Among their upbeat songs, I can recommend "Dragon," "Spinning Wheel," "Werewolf," "Raven" (but "Raven" is sung by a man, keep that in mind), "Night Mare," *Cat climbed into the playlist*, "Olga," and "Stranger." Among their fun songs, there's "John Backsword" and "White Cat," but the latter is more like a lullaby. "Spinning Wheel" initially terrified me, and "Warrior of the Heath" made me feel depressed. Although I love both of these songs. It's just that their atmosphere is... like that. And it's very well conveyed :)

It's much simpler. Folk rock. You can listen to Olga, the Werewolf, and the Dragon; they are my favorites...

Yes, "Pryalka" is definitely very calming ;) But the lyrics alone are terrifying :) And the music with its wailing sounds :) I would rather call it hauntingly mystical :)
