Posts from SECOND HOMM3 TE ONLINE TOURNAMENT
Knowing Andrey, I can say that he definitely has a good reason for disappearing. But even so, he could have played at least one match in three weeks...
Pit - in sake of LM (blue, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran) def Javdet (red, Stronghold, Tyrokasor, Tyrokasor), 141, 2sm4d(3).
In the first week, 2 secondary Inferno mines were taken underground, near one of them - a hidden stash of imps. There are 2 hidden stashes of skeletons near the castle. There was a lot of gold, and sulfur was found at the last moment (I built a castle on turn 115), so black knights were built in the castle. Galtran got logistics as his second skill.
On turn 122, there are 15 vampire lords, I'm attacking the thunderbirds that were blocking the road - golden bow and a hidden stash of liches. Then Galtran with the vampires rushes to the treasure. There, 4 wyverns, arrows with angel feathers, and a Pandora box for experience were taken. I break into Inferno and return through the portal to the same treasure. I take gloves, boots +15 resistance, Pandora boxes with hobbits and trolls, 18 wyverns. There is a Utopia, but it's impossible to get to it because of the border guard. On turn 127, I see the Helm of Heavenly Bliss behind the unicorns.
131 - helm +6 to everything, and I run to the Utopia in another treasure. Along the way - cuirass +5, another 18 wyverns, and a Pandora box with a level 5 creature. The minimal Utopia gave a Titan's Gladius and a shield +6. I break into the capital - Galtran (29, 16, 17, (240)) (level 21), 25 vampire lords, 10 death knights, 40 wyverns, 21 powerful liches, 428 skeleton warriors, 70 ghouls on turn 135 break the Gate of Oblivion and invade Tyrokasor. The Barbarians had no chance.
Thank you for the game.
P.S. It seems that our group cannot avoid additional games. We ask the organizers to extend the tour deadline.
Well done, you played great!!! I won't give you any more Necropolis factions:D
Зима 2011-12.
We started immediately, I liked the layout - 2 external dwellings of air elementals, 1 pixie and 1 phoenix, but very little money - only piles, not a single chest or bank.
On 117, an encounter at an Inferno secondary hero - Invisible didn't believe I'd go for the horde of greater basilisks and allowed me to break his chain.
Build - fire elementals in the citadel with a thousand and only 4 heroes. Monere at level 4. Picked up 2 rings for the Elixir.
121 Kyrre buys a scout hero off me, partially solving my financial problems, I take the secondary town.
There are 2 Griffin Conservatories there - Kyrre already took the cheap one, and the second is 3-4 with a stack. If there had been 4 Bless, I'd have gone for it, there were already fifty air elementals and a hundred gremlins, but with only 2, I didn't risk it, especially since there was some more cash on the way. I ran through the upgrade locations.
125 news of surrender arrives - the opponent couldn't handle the max Griffin Conservatory with a scout hero. I declined the offered auto.
The post-mortem revealed that my layout was completely losing - by 131 Kyrre could break the Grail with 8 angels, there was nothing to oppose it with.

Thanks for the game!
Kyrill already took the penny.
1) Should the colors for playing additional games be the same as before, or the opposite?
2) I couldn't find anything in the rules about the shifted guard – does that mean you can collect anything from under it and pass by?
3) There's also nothing about hit and run. Since the option is disabled, it might be worth limiting the attacker in the first round with rules.

Pit - In sake of LM - Dreamcatcher 1-0
Javdet - Dreamcatcher 0-1
The colors were reversed compared to the first round. Blue goes first. Let's go!
The distribution was decent - a stable at the Castle, a moderate amount of money, hidden stashes of Bulls and Gnolls, and a Gem Mine as a Guild. A plan to rush through the Gem Mine was hatched.
Before the end of the week, I acquired the only secondary town - Flax, and bought a book there, also running through the skill-boosting locations on the Strategic Points/Knowledge map (it came in handy in the final).
The build for the week: 6 Dwellings with a Citadel, a Fly upgrade, and a Market. Broghild is level 4, with Speed and Terraform skills.
121: Broghild runs into the stable and positions herself for a rush on the Gem Mine. I could have already broken it this turn, but it would have been difficult to catch the scattered enemy heroes afterward without the stable.
122: Resource trade, max credit, and buying all available resources. The Bulls are upgraded. The Gem Mine is broken with a loss of 5 Bulls - Overpower failed twice :(. Next to the Gem Mine are Gloves, which are good, so I take them too. I move into the Castle.
124: I take the enemy Necropolis town and catch up to Kalt with 15 Vampire Bats and 6 Wraiths. Broghild's army is stronger; the only chance was to use Vampire Bats' maneuvers while Mass Slow is active on me, but Kalt had little mana and spells, and there was no way to remove the counter-spell on the Vampire Bats or Blind on the Wraiths.
The analysis showed that the opponent had a huge advantage - 2 Necropolis towns, access to good treasure locations, more money, and more territory. In the 3rd week, to win with a Fast Finish, only Vampire Bats would have been enough...
Thanks for the game!

Pit - in sake of LM (blue, Stronghold, Tyrakosaur, Tyrakosaur) def Dreamcatcher (red, Rampart, Ivor, Ivor), 2sm4d(3), 137.
The first week was terrible - in the capital, there were swarms and orcs in the Stronghold, an orc ambush, and water elementals in the secondary town. No money, no wood, only 5 heroes, and one of them was just released from prison. Tyrakosaur is level 4, but with logistics. However, Dreamcatcher wasn't doing much better...
At the beginning of the second week, I killed Kairi, who had captured my lumber mill, and I needed wood... Luckily, there were a couple of resource piles, and I found some in the secondary town. I took a stack of 8 medusas and headed to the capital. Then, I took a stack of 30 gnomes from the castle, went to the grassland, where I found another stack of 20, and at the end of the week, I got a +2/+2 sword and +3 armor, and another stack of 30 gnomes. As a result, I built phoenixes in the Stronghold. At the beginning of the third week, I took 2 stacks of 4 nagas, a minimum-sized Hive, a stack of 8 medusas, and went to the underground treasure. There, I found a +6 shield, a maximum-sized Hive, and another stack of 4 wyverns. Nothing else interesting was visible, so I split up to buy a book and headed to another treasure, and my army took another 4 wyverns and a gold mine. On day 137, Ivor killed my hero at the mine, and it turned out that Gundula could reach him. I transferred the troops and artifacts to her and attacked:
Gundula, level 1 (4, 9, 6, 3 (10)), 10 thunderbirds, 20 storm elementals, 57 wolves, 62 orcish warlords, 24 wyverns, 5 mind elementals, 3 phoenixes against Ivor (4, 8, 2, 3 (53)), advanced ranged attack, attack, defense, earth magic, basic wisdom, logistics, pathfinding, 36 high elves, 16 pegasi, 30 centaurs, 9 unicorns, rings of +1 speed and life.
The battle was easily won.
Thank you for the game.
My most embarrassing game. I lost to my dad's noob. :smile09: Pit just cheesed, bringing a mixed army from two castles. And I only had my own, native troops, without ambushes or powerful artifacts.
Thanks to you too :)
The respawn is very huge, 3 external dwellings of gobs, one of orcs, and one of cyclopes. On the first week, I took everything except the cyclopes (the guard is a horde of greased goats, guarding an artifact in addition). There's very little money, but bears with orcs stood in the castle. I woke up on day 115, and Tyrasik is only level 2  , but I have a log. Decided to still try to level up to level 7, because 6 wolves won't hurt. Jumped on day 116 to a horde of sworders: only got out on wolves and a half-dead bear, on day 117 on the last hex I reach the boars and still got level 7:). I was given Earth and Air. The second week I searched for and fought for money, of which there was very little, took the external dwelling of cyclopes, a Conflux secondary. On day 126 I see red flags near the secondary, I position my mage so they can't pass, but they still passed, took the Conflux and chased my scout hero on fire elementals, which the archer can't take :(. On the respawn of this same Conflux there is a Dragon Utopia, but I hope they won't notice it right away. On the second week I finished building cyclopes, took the max dwarf dwelling, at another secondary I take a Naga Bank-mini and a crypt, trying to level Air (Earth is already expert). I hit a horde of Eyes for a collar +3/3 morale/luck. At this time my scout hero with 4 cyclopes chased away an enemy scout hero on fires. On the next turn my scout hero on cyclopes gets killed, and they head towards my castle. Tyrasik breaks into the main town, sells everything, builds 2 mage guild levels: no Slow :(. They didn't attack Castle Turis and stayed nearby. On day 134 I rebuild the mage guild (Slow and Blind are there, 90 mana), buy everyone except the gobs, for which I was a little short, and attack. My first turn and Mass Haste: after the blow from birds and vicious wolves, out of 13 130-hit-point horses, only 3 remained :). Mass Slow wasn't even needed.
Thanks for the game.
Very little time is given!!! I almost didn't do anything super complicated, but was constantly stressed. Or at least you should have made the timer stop during battles.
