I have a problem. My Sinister's spellbook is missing a few spells:(, namely: Fireball, Meteor Shower, Chain Lightning... both the regular and upgraded versions. :(
What could be causing this? :(
Please help me figure it out.
I'll upload photos of the spellbook now. Only Chaos spells.

What mods are installed? For example, balance mods? Or is it a specific story-driven map?

A simple duel. No mods. The game is a licensed version.

I can't offer any advice other than to reinstall the game.

And in a duel, not all spells should be available – that's not a bug...

Sinistar is here from the duel. We tried with her: Sinistar vs. me, and Sinistar vs. Sinistar. It worked for me, but not for her.

Regarding restarting the game. About 3 months ago, I reinstalled Windows. Basically, everything on the C drive was deleted, including Heroes. So... you could say I restarted it. But there were no spells initially, neither before nor after the restart(((

we take the disc and give it to our friends – they install it – we check it out... if everything is normal, then at home we uninstall Heroes and clean the registry, then install it again and apply the patch (if necessary, and it's better to use a cumulative patch for version 1.6). If there is no effect on another computer either, then the disc is not really a licensed one.
(this is how I understood it based on VW's post, that in the game, identical Sin-Eaters have different spells).

Licensed copy. It includes the code for the anniversary edition and the skill wheel with the manual. Isn't that proof of a licensed copy?

Finally, my friend checked out the spells. Her Sinistar doesn't have Rain and Chain Lightning, but she has the Pirate spell.
So, there's no way for me to help?
