And regarding the phoenix... it doesn't have a 100% chance of resurrection, so it might not revive. But archangels always revive 100%. Therefore, archangels will win in most cases.

Yeah, it says in the LKI that the Phoenix is a level 8 creature (one of the modders, I think it was Celt, wrote about it).

:) Why are you so fixated on this...? It's time to live a new life. :D I like all the Phoenixes. In Heroes of Might and Magic III and III½, they were decent birds... but here, it's a really impressive fiery bird. It's a shame you can't hire them... :( There's something enjoyable in each part, but in Heroes of Might and Magic IV, it was something else entirely. There was this chicken-like creature with something sticking out of it, some kind of fiery thing, and it was impossible to figure out what it was or what it did... :cool:

Have you seen the damage dealt by phoenixes?! It's simply enormous! By the way, I have a serious question. On Nival's official website, there's an explanation of all creature abilities. One of them is "Crystalline Scale." I quote: "The Crystal Dragon is immune to abilities that directly kill a creature, such as: 'Grasping Strike,' 'Cleaving Sword,' 'Accurate Shot,' etc."
A CRYSTAL DRAGON?! What is that?! Has anyone seen it in the game? Where is even one screenshot? An urgent explanation is needed!

This creature has not been implemented in the game yet. It will most likely appear in the expansion pack.

I hope it will be that way, because without them, it just won't be as exciting!

I tried using the Phoenix summoning spell – it doesn't really help much... it's better to spend the turn on something more useful... And they don't look very impressive either. As for neutral creatures, I like peasants the most – they don't attack, but after the battle, you get skeletons... :)

So, it turns out I don't like neutral creatures!
I think we should introduce a separate summoning for each elemental, otherwise you don't know what kind of creature will appear... it's frustrating when you need water (or fire) elementals, but you get air elementals instead. The same goes for the summoning building (Let's have 4 of them!).
I also think that the main role of elementals should be ranged attacks (magic) or absorbing damage. In this regard, water elementals are completely useless. By the time you level up your hero to summon 20-30 of them, they still won't be able to do much - the unit order in battles will be different.
The only exception is water elementals - they are more or less good, although they have too little mana...

And here's another criticism directed at the invention of a new phoenix. Take a look at the picture and answer the question: "Is this a Phoenix?"

Personally, I like the phoenix from the 5th game more; whenever I encountered a phoenix in literature, I imagined it to be just like that, only not as strong (in one of the missions for Inferno, they seemed like the strongest opponents to me).

In my opinion, the Death Knight didn't turn out well.
