Yes, it wasn't easy to choose just one...
but I'm still voting for the third drawing!))

Friends, I remind you once again and ask you not to leave generic comments about which drawing you like the most. I created this poll not to give you an extra post, because in that case, we could have simply used a regular voting system and not reinvent the wheel! I would like to see comments here about other drawings, which ones impressed you, and which ones stand out for their originality.

And most importantly, if you are going to criticize, do it constructively, without silly nitpicking and offensive remarks. If someone has less experience in drawing, that doesn't mean they are worse. Especially if the reason is age.

I vote for drawing #5 (the one with the Titan). First, a few words about each piece: 1. Very original; I even saved it (if the author doesn't mind? I promise to respect copyright!). And most importantly, it resonates with all of us! They were all young once (this could be the basis for an entire series of comics to promote the game). 2. Quite vibrant! To be honest, I didn't quite understand if it's done with paints. I probably couldn't do it myself, but the sword and lips stand out so much that they distract from the eyes, which are so sad and at the same time wise... 3. Clear, aggressive, saturated... great, but too clear, too aggressive, too saturated! And therefore, it feels a bit lonely and detached (hence the unwarranted thoughts about Photoshop, although upon closer inspection, I realized these thoughts were absurd!). The dragon is bright and very, very STYLISH, but personally, I didn't associate it with the world of Heroes. 4. The cutest piece! If the artist had outlined the drawing with ink in different colors (or even just black)... I'm not indifferent to cats, and the girl resembles someone I know, but they seem disconnected from each other, or as if something was interrupted between them (as if something was erased that was between them). But overall, I think the technique is to blame (digital art in this case). 5. A philosophical piece; I'll talk about it later. 6. My first thought was, "Could this be a self-portrait?"... unfortunately, probably not. Oh, those eyes! They pierce mountains, they conceal something, they chill you to the bone! And what a mastery of artistic techniques! Even the laws of light and shadow are observed! But... why is there a snake there???? Why is it held so awkwardly? (I tried! My joints couldn't handle it). In short, if it weren't for the right hand, this beauty, this Mona Lisa of the dungeons, would have captivated my mind, but instead, it just made me smile... that's it... And now about #5: The theme of the road caught my attention... a lot has been said about the dragon... But what about the dragon? Well, it's drawn brightly, but it feels detached. But if it were on a cliff... that would be different. For me, the meaning is more important than the form. I was choosing between #1 and #5, but #5 is more interesting to me because I see a part of the story in it. It makes me want to ask questions: who is he? What's behind him? Is he walking towards the city, or is he looking back at it for the last time? And so on... P.S.: I didn't want to offend anyone; I tried to express exactly what I think... and I looked at all the drawings very carefully! I hope my criticism was constructive

I offer you my deepest apologies for being so unrestrained and careless in my choice of words...:( I would also like to apologize for allowing myself to resort to personal attacks!!! Hmm, I'll cast my vote for drawing #1. It's a bright idea.

I think it's much harder to draw with oil paints... my vote goes to drawing #2. Awesome!!! =)
And, of course, I can't help but mention the 1st drawing... it's very cute))))

I vote for number 6. I like the golden skin tone, the expressive gaze, and the sly smile. The right hand is indeed unnaturally twisted, but the drawing has many merits. You can feel the talent; the mood is conveyed, and there's a soul in it. As for technical perfection... well, that comes with practice. You can draw a perfect circle with a compass, but what joy is there in that?

I'm voting for the dragon. Sorry for being brief. :-)

I definitely vote for the first piece – it’s original, unique, not copied, and very well drawn... you can see the artist’s own style... ;)

Since I've stumbled upon this, I'll offer some harsh criticism of the drawings...
I certainly can't draw myself – it's not my forte... but I used to be quite good at cutting out shapes from paper and then adding details (if you could see how I used to cut out and color Pokémon as a kid:D)...
I've gone through a lot of paper, but regarding the drawings, I'll say this: what I see, I could cut out and then color, and it wouldn't look any worse, but the third drawing looks more professional and like a masterpiece – I haven't done anything like that before... No. 3:)

A beautiful dragon :) or is it a she?:) Anyway, number 3 :)

The first picture is really good; it's well-executed (although there are some bugs: the griffin, the imp, etc.), but the plot and everything else make up for these shortcomings...
At first, I thought there were two Tier 1 units at the bottom (an assassin and a rider), but I couldn't understand why one of them didn't have ears. Then I realized it was a vampire, and the bottle of blood fits the theme... and the little mages first pick up scrolls, and some, as they get older, start using larger books and delve into dark magic =)... and it looks like Ink upset the little Tier 1 unit by accidentally hitting him on the head with a cross, so he's putting his finger in his mouth)). But the archer has already come to defend him... and the rest are just watching, some from above, some from behind a tree... and some don't care about anything and are hanging on a branch =)))
I liked Ink, the archer, the assassin, the gremlin, and the mage lying on the demon the most.
2. The clothes are well-drawn, the rest is just average.
3. ...
4. The colors are lacking here, but otherwise it's okay =)
5. I also liked this one, and it has a plot... the Destroyer is coming, or maybe he's acting as a scout.
6. Good drawing =))... and maybe a snake is twisting his arm. Maybe that's what was intended :O

P.S. I liked the first and fifth pictures the most, but I'm voting for the first one.

Please don't be discouraged by the other participants; your drawings were also beautiful and interesting and deserve recognition. To ensure that there are no losers in this contest, based on comments left by some voters, as well as my own opinion, I will give each drawing that didn't receive the most votes a special nomination. So,

1. The first drawing was created by the highly respected Simas. It features an amazing concept – an attempt to depict the world of Heroes in a humorous way, specifically portraying some creatures from the game in their childhood. The drawing also has a certain plotline, which sets it apart from the others. Therefore, the drawing will be awarded the nomination "most original drawing of the contest"!

2. Adelaida's drawing stands out due to its very clear depiction of the heroine's clothing, sword, and dagger. Everything is done very clearly and realistically; I think the drawing deserves the nomination "most realistic drawing." Congratulations!

3. As already mentioned, through voting, ArhLich's drawing is awarded the nomination "Best Drawing".

4. A feature of Kitty's drawing, as previously stated, is the good (although not perfect) rendering of both the shaman and the tiger. Their beautiful gaze makes you wonder. The following nomination is awarded: "best sketch composition on the theme of HoMM V"! Congratulations, Kitty!

5. Tieru's drawing (also known as absd), judging by the comments, was understood differently by many. The meaning of the drawing creates an ambiguous impression and makes you think. Who is this mysterious titan? Why is he looking at the city? Is he a scout? Or is he embarking on a journey and seeing his homeland for the last time? Due to the numerous mysteries in this drawing, it is declared the "most enigmatic drawing of the contest"!

6. And finally, Lelya's drawing! To be honest, I am very impressed with the author's ability to use pencils; professionalism is evident. ;) "Best graphic concept."

Friends, the nominations were invented by me (while also consulting with a couple of people ;)), although based on the comments, they are mostly just my humble opinion. Please don't be offended if you disagree with the nomination... I tried to make it as close as possible to the general opinion, but unfortunately, I am not a professional. I apologize if I have offended or upset anyone.

I would also like to thank Mefisto; the idea for the contest initially came from him. Let's say "thank you" to him too ;) He will probably organize the next contest.
