For example, I thought I wouldn't miss school, and yesterday at graduation, I was jumping for joy that I had finished school. But today, I feel so bored, and there's such a heaviness in my soul, knowing that I'll rarely see my classmates now. Now, only memories remain, and I wish I could stay in school for a couple more years...

At least in college, there will be more mature people around, and more of them will be smart. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm parting ways with some friends... but there will be a new environment soon! No, graduation is a good thing!

The fact that you're moving to a different city is a good thing. I mean, new friends and so on. I travel to the city myself, and it's fine, although at first, it was a bit daunting. Then you'll gradually become more indifferent, a little more assertive, and then you can even chase away some thugs... ;)

In my opinion, the Unified State Exam (USE) is at least convenient. When choosing a subject for the USE, an applicant knows exactly what to prepare for, while taking exams directly at the university is more difficult. Also, having a certificate of passing the USE, you can make as many copies as you want and send it to many places without bothering to take entrance exams in each of them. Of course, in the end, you will need to send the original for one specialty. So, the system itself is not bad, it's just the content... However, mathematics and physics are generally satisfactory in terms of their content. I think chemistry can also be added here, but I'm not taking it, so I haven't studied the tests in detail. I haven't studied history and literature in detail either, but, to be honest, I felt relieved after looking at the demo versions of these subjects. P.S. I don't like the essay in Russian, but that's obvious: a template-written review is boring and depressing; you can only show a little imagination by arguing your position. And even then, exactly 3 arguments are required, and to be sure that all 3 will be noticed, it is best to separate them into paragraphs, which to some extent limits... Although, Russian itself is not difficult; most of the rules are learned quickly. P.P.S. Is there anyone here who is taking the USE this year? Which subjects? :) If you have already taken it, what was the result? P.P.P.S. I chose physics in addition to the mandatory mathematics and Russian. However, I figured it out so well that mathematics now seems more difficult, hmm...

I chose History and Social Studies in addition to the main subjects.
This year is a complete mess... Until March, we didn't know who had to submit what. A classmate needed to prepare for one subject, so she hired a tutor in December and diligently studied with him until February, and then it turned out that this subject is no longer required for that faculty and major. Money and time wasted... IMHO, it's utter nonsense; they should have organized everything properly first, and then had us submit the assignments...

In general, it’s a bit disappointing, but having to take one less subject is still a good thing. Otherwise, 4 Unified State Exams… I had a good laugh when I found out that, in addition to the standard Russian, Physical Education, and Biology, physics is also being added for students specializing in physical education :D (which, in my opinion, many unfairly consider to be one of the most difficult subjects in the Unified State Exam). Physics was also required for medical specialties. But thankfully, they removed it.

This system has only been officially implemented for the first year, so it’s not surprising that there are many problems and shortcomings. I was also a bit worried when I found out that computer science was being added. I almost signed up for extra classes.

By the way, they’re planning to make it 4 subjects again next year. If that happens, then we actually got lucky :)

Well, I don't know who promises what... In general, a foreign language was required for about 40 out of 50 specializations. I also started attending courses.
